Spurs (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

Where do you start with that garbage.

We are team of weak shithouses. We will beat the crap teams and get bullied by anybody half decent this season.

3 years of terrible recruitment has killed us.

And to top it off buying a championship keeper that shits his pants every time he has the ball at his feet - who the fuck was making that decision ??

Trafford- not yet
Lewis- ring Forest quick.
Stones-Keep, but expect to be injured
Dias-rip up his new contract, dump his bird.
Nouri- too early to judge
Cherki-skills, but not a starter yet, keep
Reijnders-ok in free flowing game, keep
Nico-bit weak, but keep
Bobb- raw, skills, keep
Marmoush- not a winger, keep
Haaland-pointless if not passed to, keep
Silva-this seasons Gundog,
Foden-hope he’s back, keep
Doku-one trick pony, sell
Savinho- try on the left, if not then sell.
Rodri-must start, keep
Ake-keep, but expect to be injured
Ederson-put back in goal
Khusanov-give the guy a chance, keep
O’Reilly-keep, but not at left back.
Nunes-sell.
Agree but I still find Doku exciting and not predictable like rest of most of our play m Savinho drives me nuts but he’s still young.

If i
Wow really - I'll defend any City player, but I won't do it with blinkers on.
Solely at fault for the second, and at a pivotal time in the game.
Still young - but currently we should NOT be playing the ball to him in those situations.
Actually, as I've said elsewhere, we need to tweak our game otherwise teams will carry on pressing us at will
Opposition managers will be targeting him from now on.

Right before the 1st goal Reijinders had the whole box to himself to take a touch and shoot. Instead for some reason he tried some mad eye of the needle pass out wide.

They get a goal kick, pump it long and score. Typical.

Yep. He made other big mistakes he got bailed out for as well. He's simply not ready for this job.
He looked nervous as fuck today.

What to say after that? I guess at least it's spurs so it was half expected, but we were shocking. No communication, no plan, no desire at times. Every weakness exposed, but no way was that down to just a better quality opponent than wolves. Nothing like the City of just one week ago.

Both goals caused by our own stupidity and lack of courage. No fluidity, yet just days ago we were oozing it. What gives? They looked like they expected our opponents to have the courtesy to let us play our own game.

Reijnders looked clueless on his positioning, everyone looked as weak as a schoolgirl in the challenge, and our link up play was akin to a bunch of overweight fathers trying to join on a kick about at the park with the kids. The issues of last season once again seem far too close for comfort.

And that last ditch tackling is back. The headless lunges and headers to just get something on the ball, ignorant of the fact that they're gifting the ball back to the opponent and putting themselves out of position. Not to mention the genius idea we've adopted to let the ball bounce before making a challenge. Because what is the worst that could happen by inviting the extra pressure? Oh yeah... i'd have the lot of them in tomorrow to chat through that shite display. Because if we can't cope with that pressure and can't perform coherently at home, some arses need kicking before we find ourselves battling for Europe again.

I would however like to call out VAR for completely missing Bobb having his ankle stood on in the area. I look forward to Webb's meaningless apology, and as undeserved as it would have been, it could have changed the game.

Some things never change

- Handing games to Spurs

- entitled fans panicking after 2 games

- blaming lewis/edgehill or however the local lad is. When failing to acknowledge the issue should be pointed at experience heads like Dias and Stones.

- blame doku

The fact is we shouls have been out of sight in the first half. Omar should have score one and the reindeer or Erling another.

Then spurs play their kick and rush and score on their only decent chances.

Another day we win this game easily. Bur this is spurs we have to hand over cheap points to them. That is what is been like for the last 10 yeas or so.

Relax it is early in the season

Considering how many time we’ve seen Son do it to Ederson, it’s annoying that Marmoush didn’t just roll the ball between the keepers legs for his chance.

Always think when the keeper is out early and spread, scuffing it at them usually results in it going under them/through their legs for a goal.
Marmoush had his eye on the ball not the keeper. It was good goalkeeping but woeful finishing.

I’m fucking puzzled with Pep today. The first time in the game we had a period of sustained attacks was the first 10 minutes of the 2nd half. I wouldn’t say Spurs were on the ropes but they were on the back foot. Cherki, Bobb and Lewis were linking well and causing problems. But Cherki was the one pulling the strings. I appreciate he also lost possession sometimes trying things. But he takes the only creative player on the day off and also takes the only other consistent goalscorer apart from Haaland off and brings on Unc Bernardo and Doku who have very little end product on and we spent the next 30 minutes chasing spurs round like a bunch of c*nts.

I get making changes if you’re not playing well or later in the game but it was the first time we looked like a consistent threat. Said it at the time and it proved that way given we got so much worse after the change. Fucking bizarre.

Season’s over by the first international break now mate, fuck me.

Giving Arseholes and Scousers a 3 point head start. Top 4 is best we can hope for.
You must be on some strong kind of medication to keep you going after all those years on here. fuck me never seen I bigger fanny in my entire life. Be it regarding transfers on on match days.
