Will we win the league this season?

No I don't think we will. My goals for this season are get 40 points ASAP and finish above the rags. Anything else is a bonus. And yes I am an "unc" with no ambition but I really am just being a realist with the squad we have.

The latest nonsense I have seen from two pundits—and more will join them—is that Pep has lost his passion and can no longer motivate the guys. Oh yeah? Well, have a look at him on the touchline if the Spurs game gets difficult. My bet is that he will be doing his nut, as per. The fire in his belly will never go out.
I was fortunate enough to have seats 2 rows from the dugout today and was paying particular attention to Pep’s body language.

Didn’t see the fire. Kept it well hidden if he still has it.

I just think Pep knows deep down he hasn't the squad anymore to achieve what he wants or play like he wants

My brother was near the dugouts too and he picked up on that. Mentioned how Kolo did a lot of shouting whilst Pep just walked around with his hands in his pockets. Thomas Frank was much more animated, by comparison.

I really think this is a huge 9 days ahead. Pep, Viana and the board need to sit down tomorrow and be honest about the state of this squad. Some ruthless decisions need to be made about a good number of these players.

The board need to sit down and have a discussion without pep first.

I think there is a lot in what you say. We need to do everything in our power to give Pep a better squad in the time left in the window.

And why doesnt he? Why are we not giving him what he needs?
Don't know mate, i think it's quite obvious we just haven't bought that well for quite some time.
The drop off in quality has been huge, i wouldn't just blame one person for that, we're just not the well oiled machine we used to be.
The powers that be have done a great club at the club but now we seem to be sleepwalking towards mediocrity & that really does surprise me

could be some truth in that but he has a squad that could play much better with another style or some more tweaks to be more direct. imo thats a big reason behind the specific coaching staff changes.

for prime Pep football this squad is not good enough. but the results and displays and performances also far below than what the squad would be capable of imo. its not like players play as best as they can and this is it they can achieve. lot of them are far below their personal best since last 12 months, some even longer. surely this not the best of Foden, Doku, Haaland, Dias, Ederson, Bernardo what they delivered in last 12 months.
