I don’t agree at all we can and are clearly spending loadsI think putting Haaland on the silly contract we did is stopping us from spending. Look at when Barcelona put Messi on the silly salary he was on. It stopped them spending. Maybe that was mistake on our part, because we can't spend the money Arsenal/Dippers can due to the high wage bill we have. They have a much lower wage bill, so therefore can spend to improve all areas of their squads.

Youve answered all your own questions in that second last paragraph, we have or will next week an almost new young squad we've changed the whole coaching team, we've had 1 pre season game and 2 league games ,it's obviously going to take a while to take shape, we will have no real idea of what the future will look like much this side of Christmas there will be good weeks and not so good weeks, jumping to any conclusion is very prematureI hope I'm wrong too, but I'll elaborate a further.
Since last November, I honestly can’t recall the last time I saw the dominant City of old. Many fans were ecstatic with the drubbling of Wolves & believed "City were back".
This forced me to watch the match back twice, because I couldn't see what everyone else saw. Wolves could've/should've scored three against us & my fear was that a team with better quality players would've put us to the sword. A week later, Spuds did just that.
I'm seeing few signs of us consistently getting back to our best anytime soon. If I & many others have noticed our performances & seen the same thing, our management can't failed to have noticed either.
My question is, if this season we continue to regress at the rate we did last season, how long will it be before our board feel they're forced to act? Also, what action will they take?
We've practically bought a new team, & changed the whole coaching staff, so what options for change are left?

As things stand, aside from a keeper & a RB, I think we're set, so I've no issues with our squad as things stand.There's no rot mate, just a normal transition after the greatest period in club history: the Treble and 4 in a row.
Some of the players are a bit oldish now and are being replaced by young players. These need time. Rebuilding goes together with inconsistency.
How long will it take? Nobody can say. Guess we want to compete for the trophies, but the main objective is to build a third great City team, after the 1st one with Aguero, David, Ferna, Kompany, Sane, Sterling..., and the 2nd one built around Kevin, Gundo, Bernie, Ederson and Stones.
If Pep can't win a CL place for next season, he's likely to go. Nobody is going to fire him. Given what he has given to the club, staying with us for so many years and winning so many trophies in difficult times (uefa, 115...), the club will be absolutely patient and rightly so. United were patient with Ferguson when he was failing between 2003 and 2006, we'll support Pep to the end.

Mate, dya honestly believe a new coaching staff & players will change the effect those tactics are having on our team?
Let's say they don't. How long should our board wait before the act, & what should they do considering they've added several players & change the coaching staff already. What's their next move if we continue to regress this season?
I would like to see a back three of Khusanov, Stones and Gvardiol.Khus was great when he played there for a few games last season? Pace to burn, aggressive and an actual defender? The inverting thing is finished now imo, let the flair players do their thing further up and stay more solid at the back.
