In which case, my reply to his post stands.

If however, simon23 is indeed a rag, and he's referring to their players; then frankly I couldn't give a toss what he thinks of their demise.

Unless it's blatantly obvious ( from their username) I just assume that I'm interacting with City fans on this forum.

If things continue for them in their current form they will need to rely on more than one poor result for Newcastle.

I’ve started to now see a narrative of
“Amorim sorts off the pitch first, then he will sort on the pitch”, now they haven’t won their first two games.

Like the boy at school who has an out of town girlfriend, you just never see his success for your own eyes.

Until… POOF… he’s gone.

Then arise the new chosen one

Please, please, please, scruffy Jim and the GLAREZS, if you really care what the footballing world thinks about your shitty club, appoint Sir Waistcoat.

Just think of the prestige of having a knight of the realm in charge.

Isn't Ratcliffe also a knight of the realm? If so wouldn't that make Sir Waistcoat an equal, peerage wise? If so, I can't see it happening, unless in an Orwellian sense, some Sirs are more equal than others.

You make a very good point, DG, but the only club with a knight as first team manager / head coach.

A first for any club, I would think.
