How hard it is to sell Ederson ffs, are we really not ready to do this because of a 2mil difference (they offered 13mil we want 15)? We got Donna to sign, c'mon.

Possibly, but everyone knew Ederson has wanted out for a while. Nobody knew PSG wanted Donnarumma out around the time Trafford was signed, so it feels like oh we think he’s better let’s get him now. I wouldn't be surprised if City brought him in to help fill the HG quota for a season knowing full well Trafford has enough about him to still fetch £25m or so next summer, which is still profit overall.
Sold him to Burnley for £15m, bought him back for £27m, then we sell him next summer for £25m. We would be up £13m overall.

He chose to come back here knowing he'd most likely be 2nd choice signing a 5 year contract. If we sign Donna he will be. He'll also get plenty of game time to play. It’s just a question. I have patience in him, I’m not against not signing Donnarumma and going with Trafford as a number 1. We all love City so we might be bias but I can’t imagine a player turning down being number 1 at another top club to be number 2 at City behind a guy that’s only a few years older than him.
