Still in the North/South section of the cup for all the clubs still not in Europe. Shocked at the ITV pick this round.

Will it ever end? This sycophantic media obsession with those cunts? When the younger generations grow up and just regard united as that team that were apparently quite good before they were born, will the media then finally stop fawning all over them and giving them this much airtime at every available opportunity? It's been more than a decade since Ferguson left for god's sake. Why are they still fucking forced upon us to this extent as if it's 1999?

No idea what team we'll have out tonight, but as we only have a minimal amount of 1st team players I would think they need saving for the league game Vs Swansea on Saturday.

Whatever teams Leeds put out will have too much for us, so I expect a bit of a hammering.

The Supporters Trust has asked fans to boycott this game to try and starve Chansiri of funds. Lots of fans have donated to Sheffield Childrens Hospital instead of buying a match ticket.

Expect the crowd to be maybe 8,000 or less with 3,700 of those being the away fans.

Things you can almost guarantee for the Rags game.
No mention of money, no mention of cost comparison between the 2 team, Rags penalty, early bookings for Grimsby, PL ref, media blowing a win completely out of proportion v a Div 2 team, the next best "insert name" to any Rag youngster who scores

You missed off “and United have kick started their season in style tonight at Blundell Park”

What the hell are the unmentionables wearing? I can see why they can't wear white. But their away kit is all yellow, isn't it? Hardly a colour clash with blue and white stripes.

What did that Knobhead cricketer say last week? Wednesday have more fans than City. Yeah ok. Nothing against Wednesday, just fuckin bell ends taking cheap shots.

Not heard anything about this.
Why would anyone think,or even worse say that Wednesday (I can't even remember when they were last in the Premier League, maybe 20+ years ago) have more fans than a team that have won 6 Premier League titles in the last 8 years.

Probably with the intent that it would get this kind of reaction

Liverpool went 30 years+ without a league title and for the majority of that time they weren't even in contention. However they still got ridiculous media coverage. It will never go away

Potter getting West Ham's confidence up by throwing away a 2-1 lead, now 3-2 down.

If they're thinking of a new manager, they've got 5 days left in the transfer window.
