TBH, I was only joking.

I stopped worrying about empty seats and the constant Emptyhad jibes years ago.
 
Whilst the directors get wined and dined in their directors lounge, and take to their heated and cushioned seats before kick off.

The directors really know how to piss City fans off don’t they.

I would say that the disconnect with supporters is certainly growing and is quite sad to witness.

I don't know how this compares with other clubs/supporters because I'm really not interested.

That’s a great article Gordyola and a tremendous credit to the Norway and Denmark Branch. I chat to a couple of the members who sometimes attend the OSC Exec meetings. The article also reflects the inclusiveness of City and how highly ex players value the OSC.

I use to be acquainted with Peter Barnes and he would go over a few times a year he had nothing but praise for Tor Stonseby, said he City daft and he has a room dedicated to City in his house

They have a seat in 325 and you can always recognise the Scandinavian usually worse for wear having had a good night in town

I have friends from Senja who I helpfully have a picture of in City kits, dated around 1980. I remind my friend Eirik about this a lot as he ditched us for Ipswich Town lol.

I know a blue who works at the Trafford lot and he told me it was carnage at the Arsenal game due to the e-tickets so we aren’t alone Seem to remember think it was Southampton last season had a major issue as well
IMHO the IT department of clubs isn’t use to this type of project usually dealing with the day to day issues that staff have They may well have contracted it out to specialist if not then they bloody well should have To implemented an access system isn’t complicated and as I, and others, have already highlighted they didn’t anticipate the issues that might arise and have contingencies in places Sending people to join a massive queue for a few people to deal with it’s clear or dam right stupid Deal with the issue at each gate with someone empowered to make decisions this would have solve the majority of issues
 
I can understand some of the issues but the club don't help themselves.
They can't be blamed for people not knowing what NFC is or how to use it especially as they apparently sent a video giving instructions, nor can the club be blamed for fans not downloading their tickets as they sent a couple of emails explaining what was going on.
However they can be blamed for confusing fans with the new ticket transfer restrictions and they can certainly be blamed for issuing tickets specifying "Entrance C" and the turnstile display telling fans to use entrance E when they presented their tickets. That is a total fuck up and seemed to impact lots of fans at entrance C. There were plenty walking away while I was queueing up. All that adds time as rejected fans don't walk away immediately as they look (in vain) for assistance, leading to longer queues.
Anybody know the Latin for either Cups for cock ups or Typical City.

I’ve just started Peter Barnes biography and the first few chapters go in about the way City and its fans were back then, I miss those days,I know we won a shit load and when it’s good it’s good but the fun just seems to have gone from it all now, Christ you can’t even make a joke in case some fucker is offended in some way and the thought police come for you.

I really hope that the club considers this based on testimonies - as they absolutely should do for anyone with an occupation that makes them work away from home, unsociable hours or shift patterns?

Should just highlight how poor the rule is - whether you're someone working on an oil rig, or in a hospital, or a police force, or in a hotel for that matter.

Thanks. The message we got on Sunday was that exceptions would need to apply across the board so, for example. people having to work abroad for weeks / months on end regardless of occupation.

For 42 years I was in the merchant navy. Before the jobs dried up deep sea it meant being away from the UK for up to eight months a year, with leave in-between. When home on leave I got to every game I could. We weren't great back then so getting into games home and away was doable and I did so. When those jobs dried up I ended up working on cross channel ferries in Dover in 1987. This was a week on week off basis. I bought a season ticket then even though due to my shift patterns I missed a lot of games and it cost me more having one. This was the days before seat exchange etcetera. The club were happy to take my money whether I turned up or not. Obviously we were a different financial animal back then.
Anyway I've digressed slightly. The point is many people have jobs where their shift patterns will mean they can't personally attend games. They keep their season ticket because they want to be amongst friends and families when they can attend. Only a fool wouldn't put it on the seat exchange or pass it to family or a friend if they can't attend. What's the problem with that?? The club will often make more money by selling it for more than the season ticket holder paid for it. There is absolutely no reason whatsoever for this ten game ruling except to get rid of season ticket holders who could fall foul of it.

Unfortunately, the club don't appear to give a toss and would rather monetise your absence for short term gain.

Why couldn’t you have a flexi gold season card and if your life circumstances changes and you attend 16/19 home league games in a season it converts into a standard gold season card?
