Statement from fan groups ahead of new season

Not entirely mate but it does make the whole thing a bit of a farce.

1. If they are serious about the role, surely they should be engaging with as many fans as possible over social media. This forum is the biggest City forum and not one of them posts on here
2. if I email my rep direct and ask her a valid question then I expect the courtesy of a response.
3. I would encourage anyone that has a real problem with the new regulations to contact their reps. lets see just how responsive and in tune with the mood they are.

To be fair, maybe she is on holiday or something so I will wait another week or so before I follow up.
To be fair I emailed my rep about the problem of adding 3 non-members and got an instant response. The ticket office then rang me and we sorted the issue out there and then.

Well done to Michael Ash (rep) and Laura (ticket office).

glad to hear it mate. I'm still waiting.

I tell you what is a worry.

Even with the ticket price reductions, a win at Wolves last week, and the first home game of the season, there are still a lot of visible empty seats scattered around the ground, with a new 8000 capacity NSL2 tier to fill.

What else is noticable is the tourist and football fan drop off around the ground and inside the stadium.

We're at the start of the season, and in August, what is it going to be like in January when it's cold and wet, and City might not be challenging for the title, with the new NSL2 tier opening in February or March, 2026?

The directors really need to rethink this new season ticket restriction policy. If they don't, and when the new tier is open, there could be hundreds, if not thousands of empty seats around the Etihad.

The directors also need to consider an amnesty for fans who have served their 3 year bans, or have attended club behavior courses, and they should be given their season tickets back, if they want them back?

From now on it's all about filling a 62,000 capacity Etihad.
Apologies if I’m so obtuse as to have missed an obvious joke but what are “club behaviour courses” ?

You know, I’m not sure it is. Another quick search of the internet of Saturday’s shambles shows a fair few of these type of ‘City supporters’ taking photos.

Your new pic has the never ending fingers too lol

The only guy smiling is the bloke in the black top who’s probably a Slurs fan. I don’t like all the cameras btw.

Can you let us know in this thread if the stewards give you any grief for doing this? I worry how the club plan on policing it.
It worked fine and no questions asked

I arrived at about 12 and was in and pint in hand by 12.15

I’ve no complaints but a lad who sits two rows behind me did not get in until a good half hour after kick off

Great stuff cheers Blue. Hope that's the way it continues throughout the season.
