If Bobb really does supplant him on the right (Which he very well may) my guess is he will be pushing for a move again come January.

I guess that this has more to do with us not finding a replacement in time, and we didn't want a repeat of the Alvarez situation last summer.

I think he could get minutes on the left. I actually think he played his best football for us there.

And that's a nice sentiment, but it's understandable that fans are losing patience with Doku after 2 full seasons and no noticable improvement when it comes to g/a. And Savinho seemingly wanted to go to fucking Spurs after one season.

That’s one of the reasons we got rid of him.

He wasn’t good enough in that position for us and the upgrade to Sterling/Sane was huge.

Navas played 7 games for us at right back. As for Savinho, seemingly is the operative word.

More generally, modern fans lose patience after 2 minutes, let alone 2 seasons, but the club has chosen to rebuild by bringing in predominantly young players and giving them time to develop, so they’d better brace themselves for the inconsistency that entails.

Tbf to Doku he won us multiple games off the bench last season and we'd be in the Europa League without him in my opinion so he's getting a pass for a little while longer off me.
