Think that is a poor comparison in fairness. Mamardashvili is a first choice keeper for his country, played in an international tournament and did well. He was also number 1 for one of the biggest clubs in Spain(granted they are struggling these days), and has plenty of top flight experience in one of the best leagues in the world. He might be number 2 to the best keeper in the league, but on paper I'd say he's less a risk than Trafford. Most of Traffords experience is lower league and his one experience last time in the premier league was a disaster to the point he was dropped for the lad Muric. I personally think the whole situation is a mess. I don't think Trafford is ready, bit after Saturday would dropping him destroy his confidence completely?
