GK: in - Trafford 5/10 (should never start for a serious title challenging team)
RB: No one - 0/10
CB: No one - 0/10
LB: in - Ait Nouri 8.5/10 very good signing.
CM: In - Reijnders 9.5/10 great great signing. Potential world beater.
CAM: in - Cherki 7.5/10 talented lad but can go wrong. Was available for £30m and no big club even bid for him cos of his work rate. Was our second choice as we were priced out for Wirtz.
Goalscoring winger: No one - 0/10

5/10 or 6/10 is fair if it stays the same as it is now, if we get Donarumma it’s a 7 or 8, if we get a RB it’s a 8 or 9, and if we get Rodrygo as well it’s a fucking perfect 10/10 window.

To those of you who are saying this is a 9/10 window ALREADY with no more business I’m sorry I think you’re deluded.

We look back fondly at that window for good reason. But there were posters going hopping mad on this forum then too, as the Sanchez and Alves deals fell through, and we only signed the one left back despite letting both Kolarov and Clichy leave…

Of the other 8, the LB obviously I proves us as does the mobile midfielder. A promising defender who if played would also improve us .A fairly prolific striker was great. And one wild card who could be anything. Plus two back up goalkeepers.

It's a solid window.

It has indeed been a solid window but is that enough? Liverpool and Arsenal have had exceptional windows imo and are still buying?

A real good window, and a shame the 4 out didn't stay, but with rules and palying time understandable.

How are their windows better long term than ours combined? Will it be enough to win it this season maybe maybe not and that's okay but for the next 5 years ours is better.

I'll try and find it but a Dutch journalist after the wolves game said that City are going to have scouts this season looking at Pec Zwolle games, looking at Eliano Reijnders. He's a right back

Unless they carry on their trajectory and keep investing? Liverpool and Arsenal have also bought young top class talents that are in their teams now and not loaned out?

Its a long term window and actually one that makes sense considering we wanted to go big on Wirtz and he chose liverpool. Other than that there weren't that many other big options for us. A right back - not exactly an abundance of available world class rb's. Keeper, maybe Donna comes in and i think that improves us.

After that, its not really obvious and would require some daft money on unproven players.

I thought that then looked up his highlights he looks like a right wing back. Some sites have him as a right wing/right back but also a midfielder. Makes sense if we are looking at him. Amount of positions he can play.

Can't worry about what they do or don't do not our problem. Only what we have done and to me the future looks great and I'm looking forward to watching us develop and grow.I 'm also not writing us off this season especially second half of it, don't think liverpool or arsenal are as far ahead of us as you think.
