City attacking face value sites - cultural war on supporters ?

I don’t think life is perfect.

I do think we have amazing owners.

I do think people are spoilt.

Thanks for throwing disability into this to win your argument. Disgusting of you imo.

Another reason as to why I prefer the Etihad to Maine Road btw. I would never have taken my eldest to Maine Road. Disability reasons that don’t belong here. (Great Ormond street is amazing fyi).

I’m not interested in your petty point scoring. And think it’s best not to play your game.

Like I said with the rude I’m alright jack comment, you know nothing about me. And I’m ok with that.
Point scoring? Throwing disability? I've given you real life example of how City treat fans.

You are the epitome of an alright Jack. Shame you can't see it - everyone else can.

There are too many fans to remove.

Apparently the ESL1 concourse which is bigger and wider than the SSL1 and CBL1 concourses was also rammed full of fans protesting.

Look at all those fans protesting on just 1 concourse.

But all that being said the club still decided to go ahead with their other "Fuck you" directives aimed at legacy fans. They've barely taken a fucking breath :)

Hopefully, the ticket prices are reasonable mate. It was steep last year with the extra League game and the playoff match. It would be nice to see some recognition for the Cup Scheme members who go to all the games. Loyalty points aren’t a sufficient answer as I seem to have gone backwards in the queue for away tickets in the last 5 years.
They fucked up last year by pricing Inter very high without saying the other three home games would be a fair bit cheaper.

If it wasn’t for the fan protests the directors wouldn’t have reduced the match day ticket prices either.

As you say, the directors froze the season ticket prices, but they brought the new draconian season ticket rules in on the QT before discussing it with City Matters.(and the fans)
The directors effectively side lined City Matters and went over their heads. I’m sure if the directors had discussed the new draconian season ticket rules with the City Matters Reps before implementing them, the City Matters Reps wouldn’t have agreed to the new season ticket rules.

We talk about Swales with contempt on this board but it's just occurred to me that even in the most chaotic times under him I never felt as disconnected from the club as I do now :-(
It was a different game back then. Fewer stupid rules, sensible prices, players who were more connected to fans, and fewer restrictions generally. Soriano and his minions definitely have some responsibility for the growing gulf, as there is no genuine discussion with City Matters (and that's deliberate) but the game itself, and the authorities that run it, also bear a large responsibility.

Like I said my life is my life and I feel no compunction to over share. You no zero about me and honestly I’m glad about that.
I work incredibly hard and I share what little I have but you think I’m some kind of monster. Honestly you sound like a bit of a dick with that attitude.
And all because I don’t want to engage with you.
I stand by the only thing I have said. The thing I am be vilified for. And that is that we are extremely lucky to be in the position we are in. And that I feel that some of our fans are losing sight of that and now moaning like we have a god given right to whatever we want.
Life isn’t perfect but none of us have a god given right to anything at all.
Maybe think on Haalands words and stay humble.
Ctid.

Exactly, football is now serious business. Is it any surprise that successful clubs reflect that.

There is only one of us who sounds like a dick and I can assure you it isn't me.

There is only one of us who isn't showing a humble attitude and again it isn't me.

The bean counters at city are cunts. There’s some people at the top of our club who are a cancer.

Went on a euro away organised by Daz years ago. Seemed a thoroughly decent lad who went out of his way to help blues for no financial gain whatsoever.

Absolutely sickening the club are going after him yet run their own secondary market touting operation.

I’m so so close to fucking this club off for good, I really am.

Soriano is the problem - heartless bloke and absolute twat of a human being who only sees pound signs. Unfortunately he is trusted by the higher ups.
Some people with blue tinted specs don’t want to see it but 100%, this guy is a fucking ****.

Should’ve been sacked years ago for the super league scandal.

I know 2 lads who gave their season tickets up and have never been back since.

I’ve dropped out of the CL cup scheme like many fans have this season.

I’ve also dropped out of the Carabao Cup scheme.

That would have been money going directly to City, which it isn’t anymore.

TBH, it was a ballache going midweek as I’m up in the morning at 4am for work, but I stuck at it for the CL games until this season.
Binned all three cup schemes . The CL nights were awful last season, like a trip to Disney. Easy to pick up a ticket for the league cup and I’ll take pot luck with the FA Cup , a competition we seem to throw for one reason or another on a regular basis.

This is only a good idea if you don’t want away tickets.

I kept the FA Cup scheme only because it’s usually weekend games, tickets are cheap, and there are some interesting away games if City are drawn away.

Each season I drop down a criteria even tho I’ve collected all points from the season before as soon as I fall out completely I’ll pack it in
So do I and I suspect it is due to the flaws in system eg getting additional loyalty points for secondary cup and PL nand cup tickets bought for others on an SC number which is totally unfair - check back to see the top bracket totals since they stopped away points and it does not correspond with the genuinely possible points each season (disregarding buying additional tickets) which is capped or at least should be.

I don’t bother with any of the cup schemes means I have to accept I might not get all the games I want. But I generally manage without it, be it domestic or CL.
Every game costs me about £150 when I factor in travel. Midweek games cost me a day off work too.
More if I take my eldest.
And that’s without beer etc.

Point is, I don’t feel the need or benefit to sign up to any of the schemes.

Guess the reason might be access to the away games.

I used to do a few European away games, but the increased cost of flights and hotel stays was another factor in my decision to bin the CL games. I don’t traipse all of Europe to get cheap flights or crash out in hostels. I like direct flights, staying in decent hotels, and making a 3 day trip out of a European away game, which now costs a lot more money than it used to do years ago.
