I don't know what the incident was, like I said I've given up bothering, I checked the scores towards the end, with 8 overs left they needed 10 an over, I never doubted they'd get it, so checked the result at the end, and was very unsurprised.

7 hours 36 mins in is the start of the last over. Don’t know how to clip it on an iPad, sorry.

The last time I saw them was the first Liverpool game, and compared to that I thought there were some signs of improvement in the fielding and some of the bowling, certainly early on. Singh, Bailey and to a lesser extent Balderson all bowled with some control. Blatherwick and Shetty though, dear me.
Overall, the number of wides and no balls was an additional frustration.

And then that last over incident was just beyond the pale, the icing on the cake etc
Blatherwick is awful. Last over, one wicket needed, and he bowls long hops.
Why was he rotated to finish the innings?

May as well just hand the trophy to Oval again. They're comfortably the best team in the tournament and I thought the absence of Rashid Khan would help make things a little more even with their opposition.

I don't think teams should be able to do these last minute signings tbh. Even more so in the T20 Blast where it gives the richer teams an advantage over the advantages they already have.

Those boundaries are very short in the women's game, aren't they?

It's a tricky one and something I'm divided on. My first thought is that the boundaries should be the same as the men's and that the smaller boundaries cheapens their sixes (although some of those today were straight into the stands anyway). And to me more sixes doesn't mean more entertaining game.

On the flip side I worry if the boundaries were set to the same as the men's that you'd see a lot of the women holing out to the boundary riders. Because basically because they're not as strong as the men and can't sort of fluke a six like the men can. It's got to be middled for them to hit a six into the stands. So you might see the women playing in themselves more and there almost being too few boundaries to the point where it's noticeable.

The fiedling restrictions are 25 yards for women and 30 yards for men, and after the power play only 4 players can go outside that area in the womens' game compared to 5 in the mens'.

There is no pretence it is similar.
