Quite funny that in the first three weeks of the season they've had a goal stand that should have been disallowed for a foul and two dodgy penalties.

Genuinely incredible how it seems to happen on a consistent basis whenever they need results. I think they're absolutely dreadful. Amorim is completely out of his depth and his team are as petulant on the pitch as he is off it.
I fkin despise them Cnuts Night night

So if you started pulling someone's shirt on the half way line and didn't let go until he got in the penalty area it’s a penalty?
Of course not
The guidance is for the exact situation today However I can think of numerous examples of it not being applied and a FK awarded

...and.....

it's NOT a fucking penalty. It's a "get up" signal from the ref. and a shake of the head, but the baying crowd pleaded rabidly for it and the drama of it all got to the cock of a ref.

Yes his shirt is held.
Yes it continues into the box.
Does it impede his progress?
Without the tug does he get to the ball?

That's how they decide pens, right? That's how they do it at corners.

It's a fucking desperate dive and he's a cheating bastard.

All this, "Ahh, but by the letter of the law" shit always seems to work in their favour, doesn't it.

Funny that.

Why’s no one explaining why that’s offside?
Fuck the penalty decisions someone just explain that.

We need to strap on a set of bollocks for a change when we play them in two weeks and rip them to shreds
swept under the MotD carpet, not even deemed worthy of commenting on by them.

I mean, WTF!

The diving cheating f..kers do it to get a reputation that 'touch me in the box I go down and get a penalty' ala Villa all those years ago. So nobody will go near them.

The penalty decision was technically correct, but that sort of thing is normally ignored, especially if it a City player being held. However, any player who pulls a player’s shirt, particularly as they run into the penalty area is an idiot.

To my eyes the offside line for the Burnley disallowed goal looks to be hitting a spot a bit higher than the armpit, but it is hard to tell. The stupid thing about offside is the foolishness of not making a serious attempt to consider the measurement errors in the system.

To be fair I do think it’s a pen.
I’d want that if it was done to a city player.

The defender had got himself in a pickle and had a good tug.
It just needs to be applied consistently across the board.
It happens to Erling every game, nothing's given!

The player can't give the ref the reason to give them a penalty tho.
That always gets given to the rags and dippers, especially at home.

If we don't violate these by at least 3 or 4 goals, I'm going back to supporting Chelsea.
I think our players would take it as a personal affront, if we were to draw against them, never mind losing to the fuckers.
