Jack Grealish - Everton on loan

Absolutely they do - Bobb and Doku both.

You cannot thrive without playing.
I think, as has been said, it is more of a mental thing.
I hope he does well. He seems a lovely bloke and we all deserve happiness.
We move on and hope that the best of our new recruits replace those we loved.
In a top team like ours, you have to embrace the competition and earn the right to play. It suits some people and doesn't suit others. That is okay. It may also suit people for a period, and then they find the relentlessness of it to be too much. That is also okay.
Sounds a bit like Dipperology to me and complete bumpf.

Some players have been absolutely gash in our side yet 'earn' their first team spot every week supposedly. Grealish and Ortega dragged City to the FA Cup Final, both were playing well in that competition, both were dropped inexplicably for the final for two players who were not playing well.

Jack is clearly enjoying his time at Everton, where he is playing in a different position and showing what a good player he is.

I am pleased for him and hope that this continues throughout the season.

Whether he comes back and is used in a different position or manner is questionable or is sold and gets to play regularly I regard as a bonus for him.

I like him, never understood the abuse he has received, and wish him well.

To listen to some City supporters they would rather City were coached and managed by David Moyes than Pep Guardiola. That's how weird some of their views are. The steady drumbeat of negativety with regards to Pep from some Blues is weird, I have a mate that hates Pep and wants him to fuck off, all very strange to me.

Another made up story, you're on a roll fella, I will obviously apologise when you provide these wanting Moyes posts.

You should be a journalist for one of the daily papers:-)

So what point were you making about the Everton fans?
I think the point I was trying to make badly is I’m interested in how Jack will be received by fans now he is playing in a darker shade of blue, opposition fans rather than Everton. I never understood why he was booed by so many fans, it can’t just have been how much he cost, as other players cost more. So was it an anti City thing, rather than personal? For me there are some players who are absolute twats, on and off the pitch, and deserve all the hate directed at them, but Jack certainly isn’t one of them.

Jack has found his level. He excels against a team that don’t defend with 11 men. In a top side which has to cope with low block every game, he goes missing.
Good luck to him as he’s a nice guy but as I’ve said , he looks good as he’s now in a team that is his level - like Villa were.

He was a big part of the treble

Ffs the logic on here sometimes

Neither can I, but the cost did play a huge part in having Blues criticise him, even though it was nothing to do with him. I can't count many individual bad performances by him; That's not to say he didn't have an off day, even KDB was atrocious sometimes, but Jack was never consistantly awful to warrent that sort of vitriol he was receiving and it made no sense to me, but his price tag was always popping up on here as the root of his criticism.

"For £100m he should be doing better!""For £100m he should be scoring more!" Why should he? And that's become our problem, we all associate value with ability and most of the time it doesn't corellate.

I think it fair to say that there are any number of imbeciles amongst football supporters, who draw upon the media slant and are incapable of thinking for themselves.

So if a City player attracts criticism from the media ( as if ) then the sheep just go with the rhetoric and boo and criticise at every opportunity.

Sterling was a classic case, because the dippers were
" slighted " by his desire to move on ......................
and then fuckwits at other clubs simply followed on.

Jack never stopped being a good player or capable of what he's showing. He just stopped getting the chance to play in open games where the opposition aren't afraid to come out and take you on. It's very different playing against ten defenders week in week out.

This should be a reminder to everyone that when players leave they may well do 'better', but it's not really because of anything other than the opposition allowing more space. It's not Pep telling them to be negative, it's not lack of effort. It's lack of space.

Additionally, the same can be an issue when trying to sign players - nobody else faces opposition like this game in game out, so it's hard to know which players can adapt.
