Not been injured in 3 years, never missed more than 2 weeks with a muscle injury in his career...

Welcome to City, Rayan!
Some health experts suggest there’s a strong link between the mind and muscles: anxiety can cause tension and discomfort, which in turn makes the body more prone to injuries. My point is that playing at this level for RAN might have triggered a kind of stage fright or performance anxiety (fear of letting the team down, imposter syndrome, etc.). That overly cautious mindset can unconsciously tighten the muscles, increasing the risk of injuries. Maybe that’s what’s happening with many of the signings who come to us from smaller teams. It’s just a theory. I also tried looking into Kalvin Phillips’ situation, but couldn’t find anything on the mind, muscle and Greggs connection.

One of the worst performances from a City player I can remember for a long long time.

He lacks the pace to overlap regularly and seems like a slightly better version of Zinchenko defensively. Between him and Gvardiol, I would say Gvardiol is a better LB.

He looks really poor so far. He can’t tackle, is weak in the challenges, slow and can’t stop crosses

Looking like Gvardiol is going to be left back again when fit
