I still find it really strange we haven't had a right back for 2 seasons
I think it's reasonable for fans to react to wins and defeats but also be able to see the big picture. You point that out.I am gobsmacked but perhaps not surprised. We have a brand new team and a new coaching set up. Yet posters are drawing huge conclusions about the players, the system and the chief coach after one defeat. Bonkers, panic, nonsense. Wait till Christmas to make your judgements or save them for the madness of the Matchday thread. Ffs, City.
1 position in 11. City reportedly tried for Livramento but it wasn't the window to extract him from Newcastle given all else that was going on.I still find it really strange we haven't had a right back for 2 seasons
BBC football only talking about possible transfers to Liverpool and the Rags? I’m shocked, stunned and amazed!I think it's reasonable for fans to react to wins and defeats but also be able to see the big picture. You point that out.
I think the CWC distorted City's transfers. We did the groundwork on 3 June signings and then seemed to go into deep freeze, however, if Donnarumma signs, in addition to Reijnders, then I think that would be a good step forward. We haven't take it yet though. BBC Football are only talking about Isak and Martinez.
Why ? No offence but we played without a left back for years.I still find it really strange we haven't had a right back for 2 seasons
You end up getting beat by Spurs and Brighton. Why ? No offence but we played without a left back for years.
Pep has very strange views on how a team sets up. When it works it's brilliant, when it doesn't.......
Hugo shops in the middle of Lidl for his transfer targets. Signs random players no one wants for inflated prices.
He needs to find some better quality data. Brighton, Brentford and Bournemouth have better data it seems.Viana is a data guy.
You genuinely think we can compete with nunes at right back? Why ? No offence but we played without a left back for years.

We've barely had a left back either. We're averse to buying full-backs.I still find it really strange we haven't had a right back for 2 seasons
Not easy to replace world class players (at their peak) like KDB, Ederson, Walker. Plus losing Rodri, Stones, for so long. All clubs have transition periods
Good player but not world class when bought just turned into world class. I think yaya was only world class players bought and question marks against him at timeNot easy to replace world class players (at their peak) like KDB, Ederson, Walker. Yup. Patience is needed. I would add, however, that money should not be a problem. We can borrow from our owners and only the interest will count as spending (New rules permitting). Even so, we seem to be baulking at some fees demanded, yet Donnarumma’s high wage appears not to be a problem. Is there some confusion in the strategy? All that said, it is a two year rebuild, so let’s be calm.I think it's reasonable for fans to react to wins and defeats but also be able to see the big picture. You point that out.
