Will we win the league this season?

Being able to read a league table isn’t expertise.

We fans have no idea what’s going on behind the scenes or how things are in training every day so your assessment is based on almost nothing.

The fact you’re talking about us being bad for a year shows that you’re just looking at results because we played bad plenty in 23/24 as well, that’s when the change of style happened. So I’m pretty convinced If a dumb penalty hadn’t been given away yesterday you’d not be posting the things you have today.

The people who actually have expertise and the information to make a decision on the coach are all convinced Pep is the best person for the job, and when you can’t even name a replacement, calling for his job is beyond ridiculous.
Ridonculous ?

Too many players in the squad who have dropped below standards. We also don’t have enough competition in the squad to replace them.

The other point which isn’t being mentioned, is the league today is way more competitive than it was when they signed. All premier league clubs have upped their game with good signings. We’re getting left behind on recruitment.

Disagree I think player wise their has been a drop in quality in the Premier league. Some very average sides in the league.

We are now stuck between the old guard that’s lost their edge, and a new generation that’s still finding their feet which they may never do. It’s a dangerous place to be when the others are breathing down your neck and some pulling away in front.

In answer to OP, we have zero chance of winning the League. It's going to be very difficult to qualify for Champs League.

Our recruitment overall, despite the level of spend, has not been up to our usual standard. Gonna be a long, hard and frustrating season with many fans being upset and disappointed at Kaldoon, and dare I say it, Pep.

Not with these players.
Not with this system.

We'll be bored to death watching 'total possession football', lose 1-0 or 2-1 most games, and barely scrape 6th. It's a new team of players, but they're playing the old system which has been found out and is now ineffective.

We need more pace and we need to be more direct. Everyone who complains about City 'facing teams who put 10 men behind the ball', they don't; WE give THEM all the time they need to get back and defend! I'm resting my hopes for one of the cups this season.

we could be champions of the universe and the dippers could be languishing in the sunday league playing with 1 player on the pitch and we wouldn't win
You never know. I was there when we won at Anfield in the early 80s with a pretty weak team. We beat them there in COVID as well. Keep the faith.

I'd absolutely love it then again the last thing i want is that cockney mob running away with it

Not likely.
But on the positive side, it might afford the new players a few months of relatively less intense pressure, allowing them to gel and both Pep and the guys learn each other better.

Whether we can win it or not is irrelevant, SkySports News have already crowned the dippers as champions after their 3 scraped wins and a good transfer window.
