Welcome Donnarumma!

Welcome. Hope he lives up to the somewhat unreal expectations on here.
What you on about? According to his transfer thread, the expectation of half the cunts is that when he tries to kick the ball, he’ll miss it and fall over and will never be able to make a five yard pass to Stones or Rodri.

Play a high line. Potentially concede more chances. You need a better shot stopper which Donna Summer definitely is. Pep is managing that risk.

Playing out from the back is being managed much better by opponents. I’m sure Pep has a new plan up his sleeve. He’s definitely earned the opportunity to implement this plan.

It’s pretty simple Trust In Pep.

I agree. I hope he does well, but I don’t get this signing or what the plan is with Trafford - who I think will be gone by next summer.
Last season Ederson and Ortega were 1 and 2. Each player was also unsettled and had 1 year left on their contracts. That was a massive problem and it probably took up a lot of resources in fixing it. I watched Donnarumma play for PSG last season in the CL and I thought he was brilliant. It never even crossed my mind that he might play for City this season.

Donnarumma and Trafford is a huge upgrade. Signing Trafford was not a fix as the Spurs game showed. He needs time to develop in less pressurised games.

Obviously in the minority but I couldn't care less about how Trafford is feeling

If you're not willing to compete for your position you're at the wrong club
It’s not like the other positions in a team where rotation is expected and injuries occur more frequently, we’ve signed probably the worlds best goalkeeper who is only 26 on big wages, Trafford doesn’t stand a chance.

You can be delighted with the signing, as I am, and concurrently have some empathy for Trafford as the situation is blatantly not the one he was sold.

Don’t know what’s wrong with some of you lot honestly.

I'm sure Trafford is a bit pissed off, but he should look at this as an opportunity to train with, and learn from one of the best 'keepers in the world.

Important building block in place for the future. Welcome to God’s own, big lad.

Now prepare for him to be injured in his first game for us…

I actually feel for Ortega. He deserves to be starting for a top team but now he’s number three for us.
