Anyone on the Battlefield 6 beta? Absolutely superb. Feel like I'm being taken back to playing BF3.
Yes, graphics are amazing and gameplay is smooth. Maps are superb as well. Thankfully they went back to basics with the load out etc.

Battlefield is fucking back. What a beta this has been. You know it’s back when you don’t want to come off it. As for 2042, I played for 3 weeks from release and binned it.

Looking forward to Thursday to get my hands on it again. Cant wait for October to see some more maps.

Been hooked on Abiotic factor for the last few weeks. Dont play a lot of survival games, they tend to lack a goal that gets me in but this one has a proper story objective to it that kept me focused throughout. Played it entirely solo as is my preference nowadays and wasnt restricted in any way in doing so but it does support co-op and i can imagine if you've got a group to play it with, it could be a magnificent co-op game.

I ended up toning down some of the survival aspects within the customisable settings just to account for the solo play and make sure some of the potential tedium was avoided. Because you choose starting roles and have a choice of unique bonuses to pick at the start. I think the idea in co-op is you have people specialise in certain skills that provide for the whole group but that's not possible solo. Anybody remotely interested in that kind of game should 100% give this a go, it's on ps+ extra and gamepass.

Started hogwarts legacy, still in the tutorial phase, im not really in the mood for this type of game tbh so struggling a bit but I'll persevere and get into it. Seems high quality. I named my guy Gary Trotter and seeing that constantly pop up in the text is getting me through the earlier bits.

On the final layer (level) of Donkey Kong Bananza.

I think this is probably the greatest sandbox 3D platformer of all time - better than Super Mario Odyssey.

It just gets better and better the deeper you get into the game.

Good to hear, I bought it the other week but I've got hooked by BOTW again so completing that 1st.

Ps5 technical question.
Im not very techy so appolagies for whats probably a simple question. But my son and I both own a Ps5, his upstairs mine downstairs, but Ive only just discovered that I can play and carry on his game on my Ps5 and vice versa. How is that possible? How is game save data on mine? I thought data was saved on the hard drive.

Maybe it’s saved in the cloud go to settings saved data and game/app settings, you might be able to change it there if you want.

If you have PS Plus then it synchs automatically to the cloud so you can login to a mates PS and carry on..

I see, thats how it must have worked. We both have PS plus. Dont know anything about cloud though, but its super handy to help complete some Skyrim quests for him and tidy up his inventory while he sleeps.

The first boss in Silksong is to try to buy the game. Never struggled so hard, must be on my 50th attempt.

Extremely late to the party, but I tried Dayz last night. It's a mindfuck, but I think I like it.
I've been playing dayz since release on Xbox and still don't know the whole map.
You need a lot of patience to learn the mechanics but once you do you will enjoy playing if you like zombie survival games,
Although zombies aren't a problem to kill they can help you when other players are in the area.
IT can get really frustrating at times after looting for hours and someone just shoots on site.
TRUST NO-ONE especially when your geared up
Try to team up when you're a new spawn then you can gauge whether there trust worthy
Do you play on console or pc??
Pc has loads more maps but there's some decent community server's to learn.

Just started Abiotic Factor, I know I am going to love it.

But screwdriver won't work building crafting bench. So essentially I can't progress any further.

I've watched loads of YouTube vids on it, so I have some idea what to do. Still melts my brain how in-depth it is.

On console, but I'm useless with a pad at the moment. Will use a keyboard and mouse next time.

It's a miraculous port, all things considered. Enjoyed it on the PS5 so may have to download the portable version.

Another professional video, this time I subscribed because the effort you put into it should be rewarded.

That's the second channel I follow from here.
