Tapioca, unless properly treated is poisonous. We used to have it at schools in the 50s as there was a Commonweaith deal to buy it all.Especially with grated nutmeg on top.

It used to but health and safety gone mad ruled that you had to buy the plant and make the tapioca pearls yourself because the tins rusted on the cassava branches.I thought tapioca always came ready cooked in tins.
I can't imagine MEC actually cooking something properly.

Just been chatting to my grandson about his new jeans and was explaining how when I was his age when we got a new pair we had to sit in a warm bath to shrink them to size and end up with blue legs

All the other news networks manage to dress their male presenters appropriately for their job but our publicly funded broadcaster is happy to irritate a substantial proportion of the older British population like me who expect traditional standards to be upheld.

We had a coal “hole” inbetween the kitchen and the lav.I'm sure there's plenty FOC's on here who'll recall having a Coal Bunker at home back in the day and regular deliveries off the back of a truck!
