City launch legal action against the Premier League | Club & PL reach settlement | Proceedings dropped (p1147)

Now lots of people who know TSROFA pretend to know what this all means.

Even though there’s no extra info out there now than there was an hour ago, other than the parties have come to an agreement to drop the case.

We won’t know if this is a ‘win’ for us - or the extent to which we’ve won - until the outcome of the 115 is known.

Did we have to give ground on one matter (i.e. the legality of the APT framework) in order to secure better terms on the outcome of the other? Have we got everything we want on the 115, and therefore need to reset our relations with the Premier League? Or did we agree to a deal on APT in order to hasten the resolution of the other charges?

We won’t know until it’s all out in the open.

PL probably said you’ll get approval for the Etihad and First Abu Dhabi Bank deals

I think the Etihad deal has a 10% yearly upturn. I guess the First Abu Dhabi Bank deal will also proceed now

IMO (backed up by the club's actions over the last 15 years) City's position with FFP, APT etc. has always been to work the grey areas as much as possible without trying to bring down the system because it protects us as much as hurts us. We have among the highest revenues in world football, so we can spend big, but we don't want clubs like Villa and Newcastle doing what we did in 2008-2011.
That’s a good point

Hold on to your hats blues.

Shit storm brewing.
Exactly my thoughts. Are we supposed to believe this and the Levy news last week has no link to 115?

Levy leaving could be completely unrelated in fairness I just think it might be too much of a coincidence.

More importantly, have Everton been informed?
