The Boxing thread

Maybe Jack was just a little jaded tonight, he's very busy these last 18 months. He's not been the distance that often but the camps can take it out of you without a decent rest in between.

Maybe have a long honeymoon and recharge his batteries

I had Chamberlain by a round but a draw shows how tight it was.
Nice to not have stupid scorecards for once.
Well done both lads.

Canelo v Crawford next weekend in Vegas I can’t wait to watch this absolute banger 4 am ish ring walk.

Canelo as we all know is a genuine 168 lb fighter but I’m swaying towards Crawford in this one although he’s moving up 2 weight classes he’s put the weight on correctly his boxing iq switch hitting will cause Canelo problems.

All the pro's are on Crawford - whilst undoubtedly a terrific fighter, untested at the weight and / or the power.

I'm leaning towards Canelo myself to look something like his best. Scrolling through his fight record this morning, some terrific names on there.

Yes I am a huge admirer in general but I think this could be one of his last hurrah's..............

Crawford has done 8 x 147, a 140 and a 154 in his last 10.
Alvarez had done 9x 168 and a 175.

Average 147 v 169 at 168. I think most seem to want Crawford to win as the better boxer, but it is 3 weights above his best/usual, so he is a significant outsider and the odds show that.
 
I absolutely love Terrence Crawford. I think he is a wonderful fighter, but I think Canelo is too big. I hope I am wrong.

It doesn't compute, the landslide of opinion from the fighting world AND against a still very abled opponent...........

Would love bud ti win but I just think it’s too big a step up in weight and it’s in vegas on canelo day so very hard to get a bud Crawford win

I see him stopping Crocker again (but legally this time)
Been thinking Crawford all week but today feel myself leaning towards Canelo.
Unbelievable fighter Crawford but i think we're going to see something special from the ginger mexican warrior tonight
