We've got some monsters on the pitch now. Khus must be a terrifying sight when you've got the ball and he's coming at you full pelt as you only get a second to consider what's going to hit you. It must be a similar experience either going one on one with Donner, or at the other end having Erling charging at you with the ball at his feet.

I gave the MotM to Doku as he was a never ending threat and pest but any of the above plus Foden and Dias were in for a shout. A thoroughly enjoyable derby.

I think Donnarumma, Foden and Haaland were excellent.

Doku deserves singling out too, everybody else was solid.

I'm going to pick Foden because I think we need him to play like that for the rest of the season if we are to do anything.

Haaland was a monster in both boxes. Plenty of other impressive performances against the poorest United side for 50 years.
 
Great debut by Donnarumma - felt strange to feel so confident when the ball was crossed into the box
 
I've gone for Haaland because, well, two goals against the scum. But for me there are at least three other contenders. Foden was excellent, some lovely touches and combination plays as well as his workrate and of course that crucial opening goal. Doku had one of his best games in a CIty shirt, as did Khusanov, and of course Big Gigi was excellent - commanding in his area, better with his feet than we had been led to believe and an absolute world class save that stopped them from getting back in the game at 2-0.

Just a shame Reijnders didn't finish them off at the end - 3-0 is a thumping, but 4 would have been just that little bit sweeter...

I actually thought Khusanov is a weak link but he played well yesterday for the 1st time

Phil was man of first half but less so secomd half. Doku was very good, as were all 4 defenders.

Donna did as much as you can expect. One great save, rest was more of a formality.

That save was probably the nail in their coffin. World class save.
 
Don't know how anyone can vote for that big, daft opportunity-waster. We could have lost that game on another day with the chances he squandered...
 
I am really surprised by how few votes Dias is getting. Immaculate performance imo
