Erl showed facets of the position i didn't know he had.

Harland, Doku, Foden and Khusanov were the standouts
Dias had his best performance for a while since he has been dating the fitty been off his game but was back yesterday
Having Khusanov right back and Gvardiol back which is what I hoped for made a big difference
O'Reilly did well too and a World Class keeper that size gave everyone confidence

Weakest performance was Bernie for a change

Has to be the Meat Shield, but there were several other bonuses as well. The boy Foden done good, Ruben Dias reminded everyone that he can actually deal robustly with an opposition striker and even win a few headers, Doku set up two goals and was generally a proper handful, Bernie never stopped running and there was one glorious chase back by Khusanov in the second half where he went past their left winger like an Aston Martin burning off a tricycle. Lovely stuff

For an attacking / creative midfielder, Nico is turning into a decent left-back.

I actually thought Khusanov is a weak link but he played well yesterday for the 1st time

I don’t agree that was the first time Abdu has played well.

Apart from the first ten minutes of his debut against Chelsea, he’s been pretty good every time he has set foot on the pitch.

Having watched the highlights, I didn't realise how central Doku was to the major moments of the game. The assists of course we remember but he also created other big chances in the game such as the moment when Haaland hit the post in the 2nd half and when Reijnders shot straight at the keeper.

I have seen comments above stating that this was Doku's best game for City and I also believe this to be so.
