Reminds me of the time I did some work at United training ground in the 90’s. It was common knowledge that Uniteds coach driver was a Blue, and had a City badge clipped to his tie, but kept it covered under his jacket.
If the club had a policy of only employing City fans, we'd have a very weak squad and very little money.
I can't believe anyone would be surprised that rags wouldn't have jobs at City, I know of one or two in the ticket office. There are City fans working at the swamp, and their last club secretary was a die hard Scouser.
Wearing a rag shirt at work on derby day is just to be expected. I'd be wearing a City shirt every day if I worked at the swamp.
Would you rock up with it showing though? A bit silly, if so.
On par with working at Maccies and wearing a Burger King shirt.
Yeah it’s to be expected opposition fans for other clubs. If the club had a policy of only employing City fans, we'd have a very weak squad and very little money.

He’s been sacked now.Good.
Quite right too!
And you could wear a city shirt if you worked at the swamp, but you would probably be sacked as it’s not professional and it’s not respectful to your employers.
That’s not saying much, though, is it?He’s better than Sesko!
Oh I agree mate, it's just that some posters seem to think it's wrong to employ people who aren't City fans!
Daft ****One more time ..
He’s been sacked now.
Where has this come from?
Edit: It’s more than likely that this guy was an agency employee, so he’s likely to not be offered more shifts rather than actually sacking him.
