Absolute Joke In Block 315 Bar | City sack employee for wearing United shirt

He almost certainly did it in the hope it would "go viral" on social media, he's cearly just an attention seeking prick.

That's my take on it too, unless the bet story is true. He was going to get his mate or mates to take a picture or video of it then boast how he took the Mickey by wearing it in the City end on derby day. I doubt it's his full time job he will just be hired by an agency or similar for the day.

Hes absolutely doing it to draw attention to himself. But there's a fine line between people being annoyed about it and that one person who eventually finds and posts the guys name and address and goes too far.

He tried to be a dick and is now the guy who wore a United shirt to work at City the day they got dicked 3-0. Doesn't need to go any further.

Yes I agree he shouldn't have his name and address exposed, but any other consequences such as losing his job as a result of doing this are entirely fair game.

He’s been sacked now.

Seems harsh to sack him. I guess they have a 'uniform' to wear, if he has had warnings before about not wearing the uniform fair enough.
But if its his first time, just give him a proper talking to explain how it could have turned nasty.

Who's posted his name & address, & isn't that a criminal offence under doxing?

Like many have said removing him before kick off was for his own benefit as it could have got ugly at half-time had we put in a similar first half performance to Spurs, the week before. He's got the attention he craved

This is something over nothing. He's worn a united top on derby day when working behind the bar in the CITY home end. does he think he can get away with it? Also it's part time agency work, it's not like he'll never get a job again. He can go and work for united if he wants, the rag ****
They should stick him up front, he can’t be any worse than Sesko.

I did once attend a conference event at Old Trafford. It was organised by the University of Salford and the conference dinner was in the hospitality suite at the swamp.

I had a weeks stay in Manchester - three days at the conference and the rest to look around. I had earlier been to the club shop and bought a new black and red top. It was just before Aguero’s home debut with the three goals against Wigan.

I went to the dinner with my City strip under my shirt but around half way through I went to the toilet and revealed my strip to great hilarity all around when I returned. The venue had views onto the pitch. I had photographs taken with the pitch in the background. The conference organiser was fine. He was a Warrington RL supporter.

That was a time when Old Trafford looked almost a decent stadium before the thirteen years of neglect rendered it a laughing stock.
I was just going to say Aguero's home debut was two goals and an assist against Swansea when he came on as a substitute. So is a debut classed as the first game a player starts, or the first game a player appears?

I probably would have given him a verbal warning and reminded him he needs to wear correct uniform at work. I wouldn't have sacked him unless this was his final warning and he had been in trouble before

100% and I thought that as soon as I saw it online. Plenty of these little cretins around. Rags have one now, a proper rough fucker who paints the United shirt on her chest and goes around asking who would do what to her, or goading opposition with the United songs. Sad really what they’ll do in the hope of viral fame and as a result, a bit of cash.

It's much more than simply not wearing the correct uniform though isn't it.

It was a clearly an attempt at being provocative and aggravating.
