Watched a couple of Kimmel monologues on YouTube a while back and the algorithm took over and I now get them appear daily and I nearly always watch them. They consistently absolutely nail Trump and his cronies. No surprise whatsoever they've gone after him in an attempt to stop the slaughter.

Surely another network can offer him a platform, if not on TV then just move exclusively online and have no censorship, that's where the audience is anyway
When Colbert was dropped.Trump posted attacking him and said 'kimmel next'.

He's now posted again and Seth Meyers is now in his sights.

It's certainly edging towards something explosive. The question is what stops it happening.
The military might doesn’t matter how many generals you have in your pocket there’s 100,000s of troops you can’t tell me they all buy into this, there’s rumours the national guard are pissed off imagine telling troops to start shooting civilians, there’s rumours the could be a war within the military. Only takes one disgruntled military type person or secret service close to him to take him out.

calling out racism, sexism, homophobia and other harmful behavior maybe classed as cancel culture from the left - but that's alot different from facism cancel culture.
No it’s the same, just denial of A1. That’s the whole point, not whether you approve of what’s being said. They don’t just target hate speech, they pretend that arguable positions are so offensive that their proponents should be ‘cancelled’.

Lie after lie — even hilariously provable ones — because a substantial portion of their support base simply doesn’t care if they lie, let alone calls them on it or thinks “Gosh, maybe supporting serial liars is a bad idea.”
Perhaps giving a brain worm addled, ex heroin addict a high pressure government job was a bad idea?

There is a palpable feeling of dread in America today. I notice people not wanting to talk or interact with others the way they normally do. I personally feel like I don't know who I can speak freely with, like if I say something critical I could get reported. As this continues I expect people to withdraw from each other more and more. I literally don't trust family members at this point, they've fully drunk the kool-aid and are all in with wanting to see people go to prison for what they say.
