It's not just the results - good or bad.

Even in our wins this season we have looked miles away from the dizzy heights we once stood.

We've dispatched 2 relegation candidates. We even allowed the worst United side in years nearly even out possesion against us.

Second half we allowed them 70 per cent possesion. That is poor by any standards.

I said this earlier on in the week, ever since the tottenham and brighton games people have been moaning about our slow , possession based football, that pep had been found out and we needed to change etc etc SO we change, we play a completely different style, we dont flood forward and allow them to catch us on the break, we contain and hurt them and people are STILL moaning, like i said in that post what people want is for everything to be completely different and yet remain entirely the same.

genuine q here but would you have given him a season at that, take off the blue tinted glasses just for a min, kev is a legend of that there is no doubt but in his last season he was about 1 good game in 10.

I think we could definitely have kept him, on less money & less playing time, its a long long season, loads of games, yep it's a YES from me...

I think that's exactly where we were clever. For once, we let the opposition have the ball. Apart from that magnificent save by Donnarumma, we not only completely contained them, we added a third goal just to settle it. They barely did anything with all their possession.

Pep said post-game that it wasn’t by design, I think we were just seeing where we’ve had no pre-season and were knackered.

I would’ve thought a fairly big percentage of blues aren’t au fait with the ever changing minutiae of CL rules and regulations. It’s probably why the crowd is largely made up of half and half clowns, tourists and away fans on CL nights
