Yep. And people act like Pep has never won a trophy playing out from the back with anyone other than Ederson. Neuer managed it. Valdez managed it. Every one of our second choice keepers managed to win League and FA Cups playing out from the back. All of these players are merely decent with their feet. Eddie's passing was like a cheat code at times, but let's not pretend that it's impossible to play this way without him.

I like his attitude. Only been a couple of games but I noticed in the Napoli game that whenever the ball was played back to him or headed back whether the defender was pressed or not, he gave an encouraging clap or something towards the defender.

Seems small but very good behavior and the sort of intangibles you want.

I think it was offside against Hojlund following in after the header. If it went in it would have counted.

Love that, when he can, he pushes his saves into good zones. This is something Eddie did not do and we'd often concede as a result.
