Fantasy Premier League - 2025/26 | Official BlueMoon League + Cup

You misunderstand. I'd be staggered if he was even on the bench in midweek. It was next weekend, I was thinking about. Yes; four days is a decent break (better than this last interval!). But say he left him on if we were 3 up going into the last 10-15 minutes (Feyenoord? Who are they?), and he got a serious injury? It'd be typical of our luck with injuries!

Cheers for clarifying the situation re playing multiple chips in the same week. I suspected as much anyway.
I just meant he's likely to have a week without a game so should be chomping at the bit. If he's taken off and we are 3 up then he's likely got a brace and it's job done.

Haaland triple captain against Burnley anyone? I think I will.
It's tempting, but as usual I will likely overanalyze it all this week.

The ONE thing I do like is all the FH/WCers can't do it as they're playing those other chips, so that alone is another reason to play it.

Not in the first half of the season, unless of bad weather, or the king kick's the bucket.
There is a chance of a 1st half BGW if Crystal Palace make it to the QFs in the EFL Cup during GW17 (Leeds opponent), but there is also a good chance that the DGW makeup may not take place until the 2nd half of the season too.

We'll know more after the current round this midweek completes as the next round of matchups get announced. There will be 16 teams left after this week in that Cup, and they'd just need to defeat their next opponent to make this a likely happening due to their other Europa Conference Cup obligations. But yes, other than that, the odds are low for it happening widespread barring what you've listed.

Yes, I've heard about that but there's too many ifs, buts and maybes to figure in.

I've made a double change, Salah and Ekitike out, for Haaland and someone else, who I've had to say a thousand Hail Mary's for bringing into my team, it's wrong but I've done it now.

I'm blaming you for putting me off Palmer.

The second paragraph is spot on. If someone is playing a chip to get Haaland in because of the fixture and captaincy, they don't want to be up against Haaland tc's.

That's a brave call, taking both of them out.

I've done exactly the same for Haaland and Semenyo. I've had a dreadful start not having those 2 has been costing me.
I've got the two Liverpool players, and Haaland. Salah is, as much as anyone can be, a guarantee of points. And both Ekiteke and Haaland have got off to flyers so far. Someone said that Ekiteke's minutes could be at risk with Isak ready to come in. Which is true. But it'd be a gamble by Slot, switching them. Then again, you don't spend what they did on Isak, and leave him on the bench.

Yeah, that's why I benched Ekitike because I assumed Isak would go straight in v Everton.
