Injuries 2025/26 | Kovacic could be ruled out for further 3-4 months (p37)

Wait. Does Pep mean ‘next weekend’ for Haaland as in this weekend?!

I need to know I’m captaining him on FPL!!

Well that’s very nice to someone who followed City and dedicated time and money to the club as a third generation fan for over 60 years, with two more following me, In comparison to a man who has had one good spell and numerous injuries paid many 10s of thousands of pounds as well
Would be as big a mistake as giving Walker his extension
My heart bleeds for you

Correct me if I misunderstood you. You sound like you contributed to the club more than a player who just had one good spell but had numerous injuries. I’m afraid you are a bit entitled. Even a club owner who pays all the bills could not say they are important than the players. And injury is not a sin for professional players.

Supporters are more important than any player they’re are the life and soul of a club here before any player and will still be here long after they have gone The players are employed to do a job and well paid as well Entitled don’t make me laugh

Nico Gonzalez is Rodri stand in
And Kovacic is better than him. The average Kovacic who kept our midfield together last season. I swear some players here can do whatever they want and they will still be „ shit „ regardless - same method used in the Nunes thread who basically saved us with his last minute goal against Villa

He did well for us at the latter part of the season but that is no reason to give him a contract extension, over all during his time at City he’s been a disappointment
Nunes did great scoring the goal v Villa but he had too many bozo moments and if he hadn’t messed up numerous times then the goal v Villa wouldn’t have mattered so much He played well on Sunday trouble is he is too mistake prone

I think Kovacic, with a fully fit Rodri, will be mint this season. Carries the ball better than anyone else in the team, can pass and can shoot from outside the box. Hope he’s fit sooner rather than later.

I think the new system, with looking to create more counters into space will really suit Kovacic.

Hopefully he can come in and make a difference, still I’m not sure id give him a new contract. I think he goes by the end of the season personally unless he really impresses.

Great news to see Kovacic back, really missed him in midfield but it is going to take a while to get up and running i suspect. Didn't seem it because of post season but that was a very lengthy lay off, no pre-season he'll need a good month easing in if not a bit longer to fully get up to speed..
