I don’t think Pep expects us to be in the title hunt. He’ll be happy with UCL qualification plus some cup silver. Frankly, we are well short of the dippers at the mo.

Probably , definetly a great summer transfer window away to fight for league title again , but a great summer window is a big if lately.

I disagree. I think Donnarumma has given City a lift and Doku and Foden have stepped up this season. I am optimistic we are going to challenge but we don't have the strength in depth of Arsenal. Arsenal's squad is ridiculously strong. I think City can challenge but only if Rodri and Stones are available for a large element of the season. I have thought that all along and I still stick by that based on what I have seen so far.

I think Pep will 100% be expecting us to be in a title race until the second it’s mathematical we aren’t or we’ve won it.

To think a guy with his mentality and track record of success wouldn’t be laser focused on winning another league title is an odd one.

Agreed. I think most of us dont expect it but pep and the club will 100% be working on the assumption the title is up for grabs, until it isn't. We haven't suddenly turned into wengers arsenal, the aim every season will be to win the title.

I think he may be happy enough with that given our current squad but i wouldn't have thought he'd be happy for long with that.

I had huge hopes for Doku this season, his cameo v Spuds dampened that a little.

However, last few games he has been excellent.

In a era of few players with something different from the rest, he stands out.

Those jinks, turn of pace, control of the ball and his speed and strength!

I much prefer our team with him in it than not.

I agree with this.

Can we get 90 points ? No, but neither can the dippers or Arsenal. We’ve added the best goalie in the league to a squad that contains the two best players in the league, Rodri and Erling. If they stay fit we can stay in the hunt
