The rags think that if they buy players for overinflated sums that this would reflect how good that player was in real life, it's a strange way to look at football.

It doesn't matter to them because they make profits if they take a piss or have a shit, all down to a global know nowt fanbase who'd clamber over a dead relative for a fake rag shirt.
The rags are now in the scenario of not being able to overpay for the best players because those players want to be winning the Ucl & Premier league.

The irony being that the money making Premier league that they were instrumental in setting up has made the small clubs so much richer that they no longer have to kowtow when the rags come calling

Would Mbueno have left Brentford if the rags weren't trebling or quadrupling his wages

I just love they're fact they're simply a shite bottom half team

It's not bad luck, it's not a rough patch, nothing like that. That can happen to anyone.

It's about time the discussions about them underperformimg are over with. They're not under performing, well in terms of money spent maybe, but they are what they are....a run of the mill bottom half team and they're performing that way.

I'm hearing Gareth Southgate as well as Potter. What a wonderful world...
I said on here before they appointed amorim that Ratcliffe wanted an English manager and them 2 were the front runners for it that he wanted.
That info came from Ashworth so he would have known.
Presume that berrada insisted on Amorim, which is how they got him

Hey, I rather like his build: a finer figure of a man you never saw, a true athlete. I've no time for bulging biceps and six-packs, jogging and health foods. Nope. Endless binge eating sessions, gorging on large burger and fries (26 times a day), 12 tins of Quality Street before bed, and 10 pizzas when I'm actually in bed. Then I'll set the alarm to go off in the early hours to wake me up for my snack - 4 packets of chocolate digestives, 18 packets of cheese and onion crisps and an olympic-sized swimming pool filled with diet Pepsi...of course, a varied diet helps: now and again jumbo sized sausage rolls instead of pizza.

They are so disliked, I have had texts from people who don't really follow football saying how glad they are that the rags lost again. A young lad I'd never spoken to before called me from across the street last night and said: "I bet you're happy they lost? Most people are.'

I was so surprised I nearly stopped doing cartwheels down the road.
...well they have turned a shiter shade of fail

They're in the shit and I dont think they realise how close to the edge they are. 5 of the teams below them are good enough to finish above them. United just look slow and dont look like scoring. They'll be in the bottom 3 by November. The panic buying in January is going to be immense especially as they can't afford a pot to piss in.
Yes, a very fragile position indeed
