Neither Ancellotti or Pep could manage at utd. They're both used to working with technically good players with football nous. They would both assume with all the money they've spent since Ferguson went, the squad would contain that sort of quality.Ancellotti? Guardiola? Slim pickings for sure!
Feel like they’ve bought very poorly and still don’t have the personnel. Maguire? Shaw? Casemiro? Mount? Bayindir? Dorgu? Yoro?
Too old, too young, too expensive…
Exactly. And they'll be stuck in this predicament until the Ferguson years become a distant memory.Problem with the rag scum is that they aren’t prepared to accept a few seasons of mediocrity whilst they rebuild……
Make the same mistakes and repeat ..
Very good!Potter’s at the wheel…
It should’ve been 10 (well 5 or 6 at least) …. and against an Imps reserve team with 11 changes from their win at Peterborough on Saturday. A fair few of them were U21 yo as well.Lost to Lincoln last night lol

I thought he was their next big star?It should’ve been 10 (well 5 or 6 at least) …. and against an Imps reserve team with 11 changes from their win at Peterborough on Saturday. A fair few of them were U21 yo as well.
Chido Obi was anonymous throughout and subbed off after an hour or so.
As funny as that sounds, our U21s lost to Lincoln City last season 5-0 and recently lost 3-0 to Bolton Wanderers. One of the Bolton goals was scored by John McAtee, big brother of James.Lost to Lincoln last night lol

Amorim looks broken to me. Hiding his eyes when his players take penalties is not a great symbol of leadership.I know it goes against the grain but I quite like Amorim. Comes across as a decent guy who is on a hiding to nothing. He’s a good coach just at a circus of a club with mediocre players who won’t adapt to the way he wants to play.
He doesn’t slag us off or get sly digs in and fronts up a lot to the media. I also like the way he sticks to his principles and way of playing. Will probably cost him his job but he will do well somewhere else.
Football has always been cyclic. The Ferguson era is long gone, just like the Revie era at Leeds, Clough at Forest, Mercer and Allison, Shankly and Paisley. Their fans rant on and on about their history but have no awareness of their own history apart from the days of Busby and Ferguson. They can’t move forward till they accept this reality. But their fanbase want instant success
You can’t compare people in different positions. Messi was an attacking midfielder, Henri a winger turned inside forward. Haaland is the best centre forward in the world. Challenging legends like Shearer and Gerd Muller. Is he a better player than Cruyff…..no chance. But Cruyff wasn’t any good as a centre forward. He’s paid to score goals, and he’s definitely the best in the business at that, so therefore world-class..
And if his defending in the derby is anything to go by, he could soon be a world-class defender. A latter-day John Charles.
There has definitely been a great improvement in his all-round game this season.
They sadly never will ............they need to give someone a decent time frame to get it right but there fanbase wont allow it ...........and one club who should know all about this is them considering how bad United where for Fergies few seasons ............had there fanbase got there wish then they would have gone on to dominate English football.Football has always been cyclic. Apart from Busby and Ferguson, only one other rag manager has lifted the title and that was in 1907.Football has always been cyclic. And they can't accept it , as their old players are all pundits reliving the past and swamping the media ....stuck in a vortex .Football has always been cyclic. Sir Jim. Knighted for what? Ruining companies and living abroad to save on tax?
Scruffy twat
Wouldn’t put it past him to get relegated twiceIf they stick with Amorim, they may well win the league next season.
…And get promoted back to the Premier League.
