Fixtures Calendar - 2025/26

Odd decision moving the Bournemouth game to the Sunday 1630 kick off.
Two of that weekend’s TV games are Spurs v Chelsea and Liverpool v Villa. Neither can be on the Sunday due to CL fixtures on Tuesday 4th.
Sky weren’t left with anything incredibly attractive for the neutrals to fill the Sunday schedule.

Every game people moan if not chosen for TV or moan if it is moved.
It is an odd game for the main highlight of the week at 4.30 Sunday though. Can't be arsed checking but there can't be much else happening that weekend in terms of attractive looking games. Or maybe all the attractive looking games have teams playing Tuesday, so they can't play Sunday?

Quite a while away yet, but with Palace playing in Europe on the Thursday and us away at Madrid on Wednesday, our away game scheduled for Saturday 13th December is almost certain to be moved to Sunday - probably 4:30

Yeah, I would normally have thought 2pm, but the way Palace are going maybe it will be the 4.30pm game …
Good spot anyway, cheers.

A fine spot indeed! An additional knock-on effect of that for anyone planning ahead is that should we get past Swansea, we couldn’t play the Carabao QF on Tuesday 16th. We’d be looking at that being on the Wednesday of that week should we get there.

Just looking at the fixtures for the midweek round in early December. 10 different sides play on Sun 30 Nov, and they make up at least one team of 7 of the games midweek that therefore cannot be played on Tuesday 2nd. Games that can be played on the Tuesday are:

Fulham v City
Bournemouth v Everton
Newcastle v Spurs

Would therefore not be surprised if our game is brought forward a day. Guess we will find out in a fortnight or so - games due to be confirmed on Oct 15.

One home game in October, then 5 out of 6 at home in November.

WTF is wrong with fixture setters ?

It's a pain in the arse for anyone who has to travel any distance. I don't currently know where I will be living in November, as we are in the process of selling/buying, though it'll probably still be near London unfortunately.

Harsh on Fulham to play twice in one night even if they’re both in London

Well if Palace game get's moved to the Sunday that’s ruined the Saturday double header of Alabama 3 in the evening. Last year’s Palace game on a Saturday meant I could see Sham 69 in the evening (note I live close to London)
