Fixtures Calendar - 2025/26

But the league would be so, so much poorer without the Sky tv money. Agree though, as a supporter, 3pm Saturday is mustard.
I’d rather have a poorer league for more Saturday games.

I actually think the 10 PL games each week should only be played on Friday nights and Saturdays:

Friday 8pm, 2 games
Saturday 12.30pm, 2 games
Saturday 3pm, 2 games
Saturday 5.30pm, 2 games
Saturday 8pm, 2 games

Bournemouth (home) Sunday 02/11 16:30 Sky
Liverpool (home) Sunday 09/11 16:30 Sky
Newcastle (away) Saturday 22/11 17:30 Sky
Leeds (home) Saturday 29/11 15:00 not on TV

As predicted we play on a Tuesday after Newcastle and they have moved us to a 5.30 on the Saturday prior. And moved Bournemouth to Sunday before we play in CL, utter cunts! It can be a coincidence any longer it’s TV doing everything to handicap us.

That's ridiculous. However I looked to see who the Dips are playing in the week before us. Real Madrid. And they have been given Saturday 8pm then Real on Tuesday. Someone will be getting fired...

Don't the PL want to help the teams in Europe and give them as much time as possible to prepare for CL ETC. The better we all do the more teams we have in Europe, so why keep penalising teams?

Odd decision moving the Bournemouth game to the Sunday 1630 kick off.
It’s only like playing Saturday-Tuesday.

But we’ve got an extra day off after Villa, making it 7 days between games to prepare for the following week and get bodies back if anyone is carrying knocks or injuries.

Someone’s got to play in the TV slots and we have to be on tele so many times to hit the revenue that comes from it. At some point somewhere everyone will get moved to make it 2 days between games rather than 3 but gain an extra day before or after as a result.

Don this case they have fucked us and Newcastle over as they play away on Tuesday. It might not sound a lot but those extra few hours if we had kicked off at 12.30 or stayed at 3 make a huge difference. Trains at that time are also a pain getting home. It’s either a mad dash for the 19.44 or next direct train leaves just before 9 and back on Manchester just before midnight
