My first visit to Highbury and only time I seen us win at that ground, anyone else at the game unbelievable 50 years. The days when you could go with all your mates and pay on the gate happy days.
3-0 up aswell! The good old days although watching the footage, the standard of defending looked shocking. My first visit to Highbury and only time I seen us win at that ground, anyone else at the game unbelievable 50 years. The days when you could go with all your mates and pay on the gate happy days.
Bit my fingernails down to my wrists as they came back into it - if I recall from my ventures around the country, first away win in over a year..."oh what fun it is to see city win away" (at last!) Great finglands return trip!My first visit to Highbury and only time I seen us win at that ground, anyone else at the game unbelievable 50 years. The days when you could go with all your mates and pay on the gate happy days.
Yes. Our last win at Highbury. Was that our last league win away at cheating Arsenal for about 30 years?
DGR not heard that for a whileOn the clock with a few hundred other City fans.
Some gooners wanted aggro but the DGR lads faced em off.
Lively round the coaches later.
Denton,Gorton & Reddish, for the unaware.DGR not heard that for a while
It was also the first ever MOTD broadcast on RTE (Irish Television).I seem to remember that it was the main match on MOTD.

We were fine that day but we only had a mini bus which was just outside waiting for us. The coppers were trying to move the driver on, but we got there just in time.I was actually at this game sat in a home stand right near their end, and it turned out to be quite an exciting game .... I remember us going three goals up and seemingly coasting, when Arsenal suddenly struck back with a couple of goals, and we were left hanging on a bit ..... we held on though and it was a great three points ..... i didn't personally experience any trouble returning to the coaches afterwards, but I gather that one of two others did.
I was at that game..went with my dad..we looked like coasting it at 3-0 but almost fucked it up.My first visit to Highbury and only time I seen us win at that ground, anyone else at the game unbelievable 50 years. The days when you could go with all your mates and pay on the gate happy days.
