Bit my fingernails down to my wrists as they came back into it - if I recall from my ventures around the country, first away win in over a year..."oh what fun it is to see city win away" (at last!) Great finglands return trip!

A tight,very handy group of lads who terrorised rags in those areas particularly those getting off matchday bus's round Belle Vue Lake Hotel when the rags were at home.

Wasn’t there another Arsenal away game of similar vintage when they punched one off the line (not the goalie obviously) but the ref didn’t spot it? If only we’d had good old VAR!

I was actually at this game sat in a home stand right near their end, and it turned out to be quite an exciting game .... I remember us going three goals up and seemingly coasting, when Arsenal suddenly struck back with a couple of goals, and we were left hanging on a bit ..... we held on though and it was a great three points ..... i didn't personally experience any trouble returning to the coaches afterwards, but I gather that one of two others did.

I remember us going three goals up and seemingly coasting, when Arsenal suddenly struck back with a couple of goals, and we were left hanging on a bit ..... we held on though and it was a great three points ..... i didn't personally experience any trouble returning to the coaches afterwards, but I gather that one of two others did.

We were fine that day but we only had a mini bus which was just outside waiting for us. The coppers were trying to move the driver on, but we got there just in time.

I was at that game..went with my dad..we looked like coasting it at 3-0 but almost fucked it up.

Yes. I was born the day of this game (in fact actually during it) and the next time we won there I was well into my 30s!
