It's pathetic to have an opinion on a player? Everyone on this forum must be pathetic in that case. Him being our best player for the first 3 months of last season is also subjective given he provided 4 assists 0 goals and didn't win a player of the month award in that time.
He must be amazing in training. I can see the ability, it’s his mentality I have doubts about.
I think, he has more than enough to cope. This lad is going to be a leader in the dressing room in time, mark my words. The club know what we have here, so does Pep in terms of attitude. He is a young kid but a very confident lad in his own ability, look how he celebrates team goals too, a real factor in the dressing room that. As far as natural talent goes as well, this kid is up there with Foden and Cherki. Aprpreciate he hasnt set the world on fire yet but we'll see it this season.
His level of commitment has definitley looked poor when he's got on the pitch recently. Maybe he's been warned, by whoever advises him, not to get crocked while the contract negotiations were going on or maybe he's been told not to overdo it when coming back from injury...let's hope so!
He’s not that quick. Hes not very strong. His decision-making and execution are abysmal and he seemingly doesn’t have a backbone. It’s not the best mix for a wide man.
