52 | Oscar Bobb - 2025/26

I think that position is still up for grabs. Bobb slightly ahead of Savinho in that he seems to make the better decisions. The goal today was misfortunate for Burnley as ball had gone past Bobb. However, Bobb was there, whereas Savinho seems to be on the periphery of decisive moments like these.
We were blessed with the likes of Mahrez and no one is currently comparable to him.
I can see Bobb and Savinho battling it out until there becomes a clear winner between the two.
Can't disagree with that. It's the decision making and movement for me. Like someone said above, cherki makes it interesting as well.

his #1 problem continues to be decision making in the final third
His decision making has been great. He just needs something to open up for him. Laid one on a plate for Foden and created some really good moments with his dribbles and his good passes inside. Issue is, he will be judged on g/a and he isn't really that type of player. He's a knitter ala David Silva/Bernardo Silva as opposed to a numbers guy.

I thought he had a good game. Helped us dominate the match first half and got the intelligence not to just throw it in the box but pick out the likes of Foden/Reijnders around the edge.

Stylistically reminds me a bit of Olise. More than a winger a very intelligent footballer.

Not saying hes shit before people come at me but I dont see it, thought he was poor

Need more decisiveness from our wingers and not sure if Bobb is a winger or a #10, seems a bit wasted there

Feel hes at risk of dropping off now Cherki is back

Had a decent 1st half and then disappeared in the 2nd. Our wide men are a real problem for us.
Agree with this, he was pretty good first half but then was usually receiving the ball facing his own goal second half and a bit isolated.

He seems to disappear in second halfs, but first half excellent. why doesn't he take people on more, he's an insane dribbler.

He created a couple of chances for Phil that Phil couldn’t finish. Some nice movement. Need more involvement next game but not bad today

Did fine. Created a chance that should have been finished off. We didnt provide our wingers with much opportunity to do what many want, in thr same way we cannot expect haaland to do something if we dont provide, we cannot expect the wingers to provide if we arent giving it to them in optimal positions.

He was very good in the 1st half. He showed elite ball control/dribbling in tight spaces more than once today.

Foden wasted most of his good work.

A player who starts the 1st half off well, then is pretty much invisible in the 2nd, the same happened at Wolves and Brighton. Bags of talent but needs to work on his end product

When he can square up his man he's really good at decision making. I need him to learn (ignore pep) and start making runs behind the full back rather than hogging the touchline
