People can come at it whichever angle they wish, mine is more on economics but there is a level of culture too. Neither of which are racist.

People are trying to stick up for their country which they believe is lost, which it is on many, many different levels. You are a weird ****, for thinking this country is in a good state and everyone should be happy. It is a mess and the fact you are saying people should go out and litter pick is a massive example of it. We pay countless taxes for things like litter to be picked you imbecile. The fact you want us to go out and do it speaks volumes, we want the things we pay for to be done already.

The same social media that Neville himself makes full use of and knew that by posting that video he would poke the fire, so increasing the heat of a room that is already too warm for comfort, therefore causing more division?

The video uploaded on that tv show exposed him for the snivelling hypocrite he was at the time for taking the Qatar gig. If you're going to use your fame and public platform to veer away from talking about football and become politically vocal then you have to stand by your principles.

Division, terrorism, war and strife has existed long before social media. What social media has done is given every person on the planet with an internet connection a platform to air their views instantly and to a global platform. Before it's conception only the msm had that privilege. It certainly has the scope to create more anger, but that anger still existed in pubs, public and private meetings and protest marches and demonstrations pre internet.

The genie is out of the bottle now, can it ever be out back in?

Does bringing in asylum seekers actually have any negative impact on your day to day life?

I don't mean in general national economic terms because as we know, immigration has a net benefit and the dire state of the economy has nothing to do with the money spent on housing asylum seekers.

I agree with you on economics. Cultural, it can be and it can’t be, I know people that fall into both.
 
No problem with him having an opinion, my issue is that as a public figure he should be very cautious about what he puts out on social media.

Agree with all of this, I would add look at what has happened over the last 40years in Sweden where they went from an indigenous population being one of the wealthiest countries in the world per capital, to allowing in people from every war torn country starting with Afganistan back in 1979.

Social media is 100% the stoking the division we are seeing everywhere, the algorithms are designed for it, and that's why you have the likes of Elon musk buying twitter. It's all about being on one side of the other extreme with no middle ground, thats modern culture and it will get worse
