I don't mind that reaction. He would never have played for City or Liverpool so he didn't understand how Schmeichel could. I'd be the same if I played for City and one of ours went over to that filth. I don't mind his commentary either. He's having to watch his two most hated teams win whilst his club are shite. What I can't stand is how much of a platform they give him to chat shite and that he's never questioned about his hypocrisy by anyone other than Simon Jordan - who knows exactly what he is up to. Peas in a pod those two.

His political views in relation to this country are fine, it's his views regarding the running of the game and ownership that many have an issue with. He doesn't like what City's owners have come and done and he wants them out. He doesn't like what United's owners have done with his club and wants them out. If United's owners were at City and ours at the rags he'd be quite fine. He should just openly admit that rather than pretend he cares deeply about clubs not going into liquidation and wants to ensure owners are decent people from decent backgrounds. Him signing up to Bein Sports shows he'll follow the money just like anyone else. Undermines his whole arguments and shows they're centred on club rivalry more than anything else.

Absolutely. If the past 6 years have taught us anything, champagne socialists are the worst thing that could happen to us.

What we need is more champagne free market libertarians to continue to dupe simpletons into voting for them.

Champagne socialists say the right things and pretend they care, whereas what we need to vote for is people like Rees-Mogg and his ilk who couldn’t give a fuck about us and tell us that to our faces.
