9 | Erling Haaland - 2025/26

He agrees with you - didn't he call it a 'proper' goal in his on-field interview?

Funny how many people claimed any striker would score shit loads in our team, yet Arsenal sign a highly regarded striker and he is on 3 goals and the dippers sign someone who most were claiming was a better all round player than Haaland and he has just one. Not like he still has De Bruyne putting them on a plate either.

I still don't feel like many of our greats get the respect they deserve(d). Haaland won't give a shit of course, but his record is outstanding. There's no other player out there who scores the goal he did against Brentford which is one of my favourites of all of his so far.
It was similar to one of my favourite goals of his, against Brighton (IIRC), when he was played through and the central defender (Dunk?) just bounced off him when he tried to tackle him.

Is this thread about Håland? ;)
Gyökeres will score goals. I just do not want Arsenal to get their Håland.
Victor is a physical striker. One of which Arsenal had with Giroud. Victor is more mobile and always fired up. Pep could make a star out of him. Arteta can not emply this kind of striker as of yet. Also, Gyökeres needs to stay fit and be played regularly.

Gyokeres isn't more anything than Haaland.

Missed two penalties today for Norway (the initial then a retake, went different way second time) but has also scored again and caused another.

Not the best penalty taker anymore. He used to batter them in when he first joined!

Definitely something to work on, he bottled the one in the cup final because he had doubts. Really not like him to be phased by a pressure situation as he is typically so ruthless.

We should be taking lessons from Norway, despite inferior players, they supply haaland way more than we do. Its scary to think how many he could get for us in a side that was built to create chance after chance for him and not just 1 or 2 a game.
One of two a game....

I think if anything mate, we are more than ever this season driven to primarily supply him. He has 61.9% of all our goals this season and he didn't play the league cup vs Huddersfield.

It's one of the big reasons our joint second top scorer is a player who plays for Burnley with 2 OGs.

Pretty much our entire attack funnels into Haaland at the moment.
