Is there any formal or informal update on Rodri, Ait Nouri, Marmoush, Cherki and Khusanov? I am assuming Erling return is for a rest and not injury related?
Not unless he's transferred to the Japan teamIf our new man scores with a header, do you think they'll say 'There's a Nypan the air'. ?
Should be pleased he’s released Erling, not fretting about Bobb.Don't really see why Norway decided to keep Oscar Bobb up there, instead of allowing him to return home with Haaland .... we don't want him getting injured in a friendly.
Both Bobb and Haaland stand every chance of being selected by Pep for the Everton game though ... by all means keep our players in the Norwegian set up for a meaningless friendly such as Nypan, the yound lad on loan at Boro, but not important first teamers who COULD be easily be sent back as the game has no significance .... if Bobb did his injury again in that meaningless friendly and was missing again for the next 4-6 months then I definitely would not definitely consider it worthwhile, and I'd like to listen to the Norwegian managers explanation as to how he DID consider it worthwhile, and especially as he would be missing from THEIR own squad for the next few internationals!!Should be pleased he’s released Erling, not fretting about Bobb.
I know we don’t like international breaks but, if he lets them all go, he’d be popping into the Dog and Duck in Oslo and picking the first eleven blokes he sees in there…
I have no problem with him getting the minutes ..... I'd just much rather him be getting them in the City team, than the Norwegian one .. and especially as its a meaningless friendly!!They can get injured on a plane or in the shower, there's no guarantees. Bobb needs the minutes so I'm hopeful he gets the full 90.
Not that I have seen. There is hopeful speculation that they will be back for Everton but I am not sure that they all will be.Is there any formal or informal update on Rodri, Ait Nouri, Marmoush, Cherki and Khusanov? I am assuming Erling return is for a rest and not injury related?
Depends on how you pronunce it, if its "nip" then that works and its slightly funny, if not.. I'm sorry you'll have to go and get your coat:)If our new man scores with a header, do you think they'll say 'There's a Nypan the air'. ?
Well, I obviously was pronouncing it Nip.. So is my coat staying on ? ;-)Depends on how you pronunce it, if its "nip" then that works and its slightly funny, if not.. I'm sorry you'll have to go and get your coat:)
YepI'd go with
Donnarruma
Khusanov
Dias
Gvardiol
O'Reilly
Nico Gonzalez
Reijnders
Marmoush
Foden
Doku
Haaland
RAN cannot just walk back into the team when O'Reilly has played excellently. Rodri will be more important v Villarreal and can come on in this game for the final 25-30mins here. Marmoush we need him back involved and his work rate is very good. Cherki, is already back ahead of schedule so I would be careful and ease him back in.
Khusanov should slot back in at right back ahead of Nunes.
I will be surprised if Pep gives Bobb a start on Saturday. He's not exactly shinning when given the chance this season. Both Bobb and Haaland stand every chance of being selected by Pep for the Everton game though ... by all means keep our players in the Norwegian set up for a meaningless friendly such as Nypan, the yound lad on loan at Boro, but not important first teamers who COULD be easily be sent back as the game has no significance .... if Bobb did his injury again in that meaningless friendly and was missing again for the next 4-6 months then I definitely would not definitely consider it worthwhile, and I'd like to listen to the Norwegian managers explanation as to how he DID consider it worthwhile, and especially as he would be missing from THEIR own squad for the next few internationals!!
The love fest for young Oscar baffles me. As far as I can see it’s based solely on that little cameo at St James Park.I will be surprised if Pep gives Bobb a start on Saturday. He's not exactly shinning when given the chance this season.
I can remember a really bitterly cold night game v everton at home under ManciniLooks like it's probably going to be a big coat for the game, maybe a snood and big hat to make sure :)
I can't remember an everton side who played good attractive open football.Who was the manager of Everton that game where they openly just tried to kick big Erl off the park and he got very frustrated with it all
Expect more of the same this game.
That's a very B team set of officials.
