you could say that Isak is elite (he will adjust to Liverpool and will start ripping), Kane is still elite, Alvarez and Dembele also are eliteIt’s a toss up between right back and striker that has the worst strength in depth in world football.
There are two elite strikers in the world (imagine saying that 15-20 years ago when there were about two-dozen!) in Haaland and Mbappe. And there are probably 3 elite RBs in Hakimi, Kounde and Timber.
Everyone else is both positions are instantly forgettable.
Might as well stick with Khusanov and develop him there.
Hakimi is a great player for sure.Hakimi is absolutely clear and then comes nothing
Real didn’t give him a chance he was too young and Carvajal was the starter. He started for all the other clubs so it wasn’t personal or his quality. Inter needed to sell and Dortmund was always going to be a stopoverHakimi is a great player for sure.
I worry about these sort of players that have played for various high level teams. Does he move because he’s not happy, or because certain teams deem him not good enough. That’s clearly not the case now. He’s played for - Real, Dortmund, Inter, PSG.
There’s also the personal stuff and let’s be honest we aren’t going there after last time.
Fair enough. Great player.Real didn’t give him a chance he was too young and Carvajal was the starter. He started for all the other clubs so it wasn’t personal or his quality. Inter needed to sell and Dortmund was always going to be a stopover
i don't understand why we are not linked to Wilfried Singo, for me he should be nr1 target for RB
we are in a precarious situation with players who can play multiple positions, we might be safe if we play O'reilly/Gvardiol in LB and Khusanov/Lewis in RBOne thing could be the African Nations Cup. We have Ait-Nouri already as a fullback (different side, I know) and while we might be okay with one missing, losing two fullbacks might be seen as too risky. Just a possibility - I expect if they were to think he's something special then we'd go for him regardless, but if not then maybe we' look elsewhere.
I agree with those to be fair. My excuse is it was early doors when I posted that and forgot about them.you could say that Isak is elite (he will adjust to Liverpool and will start ripping), Kane is still elite, Alvarez and Dembele also are elite
I'd say Khusanov if we want more defensive RB, Nunes if we want a more progressive option.we are in a precarious situation with players who can play multiple positions, we might be safe if we play O'reilly/Gvardiol in LB and Khusanov/Lewis in RB
Same with Lewis. Difference is that Nunes is a physical and offensive threatNunes is accident waiting to happen, almost every game!! Think he is decent player but not a fullback!!!
Id say that Lewis looks more comfortable in our midfield whereas Nunes looks lost.Same with Lewis. Difference is that Nunes is a physical and offensive threat
At 19 years old, we need to take a look at how he will continue his progress this season with Feyenoord.
