Awful first 60 minutes and lucky not to be behind. Once haaland once again produced the goods from the very first opportunity he was given, together with the introduction of Bernardo, it was a completely different side and a very good, professional last 30 minutes.

Nobody is going to remember Everton at home in May but the fixture list now asks for us to just take the 3 points and keep going and it was job well done today.
 
Shocking first half. Both wingers were wank and it showed.

Strange that they didn’t swap considering Savinho is miles better on the left and Doku has a stormer midweek on the right for Belgium.

Got there in the end, though, and better finishing would’ve seen it be 4/5-0.
 
Not great first half, better second, top of the league for now. Only worry is we are dependant on haaland scoring and not much else coming from anywhere else. However he should have had 4 himself! 3 points!!!!
 
Goals change games, up until Haaland's first we looked very disjointed, the passing was sloppy and we generally looked a bit off. However, after that goal we stepped it up a level, we moved the ball quicker and we were in complete control.

Far from vintage City, but we look better defensively and we are certainly moving in the right direction.
 
Haaland is a freak

Barely involved but 2 goals, missed (by his standards) a sitter and hit the bar
 
Very professional performance. Some good stuff at times bit wobbly at the back at times. Everton played fairly well and worked hard.
Come on blues.

Not really. We created some good chances and generally controlled the game well, bar their chance after Ake's mistake.

Everton have been solid defensively this season. But we could've scored 4 goals.

We'll get better in attack as the season progresses. The likes of Cherki and Marmoush can help a lot. I'm sure Savinho will get better too.
 
Very mundane first half which suited Everton a whole lot more than us. Once the tempo went up a bit we looked a lot more comfortable. Worthy winners in the end.
 
3 points a good win, bit concerning that our goals seem to be only coming from Haaland, we need a few more players chipping in with goals
 
Just back and really enjoyed the second half..we should have had a few more but at least we got the 3 points.
Everton are hard to break down and to be honest are fucking awful to watch.
The two Nico's were excellent and Phil looking more like his usual self now.
Erling hardly touched the ball before he scored but could and should have had an hat trick.
We still have a few players to come back and we are looking better and stronger.
