Haaland the great

The initial talk was how could City accommodate him, how his touch was clumsy, how he wasn't a perfect fit in the mould of Sergio. And then they counted the goals, and they witnessed how he was a master of holding up play. Now we are labelled a one-man band. But I just say "What a fuckin' tune!"
This is whats hilarious in the media today, striker scores aload of goals and a team is too reliant on them and they dont contribute enough to the overall game, keeper plays well and the defence is crap, fullback is a good defender but his output going forward isnt enough, what happened to a player doing their job well and being praised for that.

We rarely get a positive report in Mrs Ewing's Daily ToryGraph. Pep's lost the plot, Rodri's injured. Doku no end product, we've not replaced Yaya, we shouldn't have let Kev go, Gigi hasn't the distributive skills of Eddie, and so it goes on! T'other week there was nigh on a double page spread of what that Belgian goalie was gonna bring to the Rags. Has he played yet? It's risible. Most of the third and fourth rate hacks who scribble this shite could double up as stand-up comedians.

Unfortunately, I’ve got a feeling his scoring run might come to an end away at Aston Villa.
It’s so frustrating, but all the signs are pointing that way.
Whenever we play at their ground, it’s like we’re a different team — just not ourselves.
We haven’t won there since autumn 2021, but who knows — maybe their luck’s finally run out.

Villa away is his biggest test this season. If he can do it at Villa Park then fine, if not then he's just a flat track bully .....

I haven’t updated the official club graphic for Manchester City’s all-time top scorers in a while. After his goal against Villarreal, Haaland has moved up to 8th place on the list, drawing level with Tommy Browell.

Haaland's only enemy is keeping fit. His whole game relies on being dynamic and pure power. If he manages to not get injured and maintain his fitness levels then he will break every record ever.

One day we might play to his strengths!
Can't wait!!

I’ve got a son telling me he needs to drink raw milk to be like Erling … and tomahawk steak …
A bit dangerous that really.

It’s illegal for supermarkets to sell raw milk for a reason.
