Villa v Maccabi Tel Aviv - away fans banned | MTA confirm they will refuse any allocation for safety reasons (p26)

Do you mean muslims are the group that hate all jews? And if not, who do you mean?
There's lots of people who hate Jews, be they white, brown, black, Muslim or non-Muslim. And that's the same for Muslims as well, where there's groups that hate them.

There are also lots of examples of fantastic inter-faith collaboration. As ever, it's individuals more than general groups.

Sorry Ric that’s too balanced for this place and it’s muffin\barm culture where it’s either one extreme or the other.
I’d be happy to ban the word Muffin.

Always been a Barm so please refrain from using that kind of language.

Right, back on the subject.
Would it not be easier just to keep all the locals locked indoors on matchday or play friday evening when they are all at prayers? ;-)

Legia warsaw fans were banned, Old firm matches have been without away fans multiple times, but keep believing it's just "anti semitic", I guess Frankfurt fans getting banned from Naples is "anti German" racism

So, you confirm that you could think of zero other cases where fans have been banned from English stadiums.
The only case I can think of goes back 25 years when Turkish fans were banned - and they needed to knife English fans to death for that to happen.

Legia Warsaw fans were banned from England, and Glasgow is still in the UK.

The rewriting of history on here is absolutely ludicrous.

I am pretty sure that not one Ajax fan was involved in the issues last season, bear in mind that they also have a large Jewish support like Spurs. The problems were caused by the locals. The court case which I would trust more than the story tellers on here is something that people should read. 85% of those arrested were not Maccabi fans, 100% of those hospitalised were Maccabi fans. The only people jailed by the courts were locals. I will remind people on here that during the court cases it was revealed that more than 900 people were in a WhatsApp group and the court said the chat had been used to pass on information to "commit violence against people of Jewish descent and/or supporters of Maccabi Tel Aviv".

Yes. Maccabi fans chanted some pretty disgusting songs but no more than plenty of other European and UK clubs do. As for the video supposedly showing Maccabi fans in Amsterdam two years ago, I don't think they even played there that season although I will stand corrected.

Young Boys who play Villa soon rioted at the weekend and attacked police, should they be banned? Den Haag fans burned a huge LGBT flag this weekend at their own stadium which most people would agree is a homophobic attack on a community, should they be banned from attending any games or will they be welcomed in a place like Birmingham if they ever play there. Barca were kicking off recently, yet again no calls for bans in Europe.

I have said before but nobody could answer, this so called reputation of Maccabi fans, where has it come from, a couple of incidents? Name me five other incidents that involved Maccabi fans in Europe. A top 50 list of teams with fans with a hooligan reputation would not have Maccabi in it.

The issue in Birmingham is that, like Amsterdam, there is a radical Muslim population that simply cannot be trusted when an Israeli team comes to play. You can whinge and moan all you like but those are the facts. The anti semitism on here is disgusting but it's nothing more than expected.

Just watched the debate in the HoC on the question raised around the WM Police banning the Jewish suporters.

Very interesting debate which was very well handled and all credit to the Labour Government and in particular to Lisa Nandi.

Well done Labour for sticking to first principles and refusing to let the Muslim group change the image of British politics.

I hope they let them come, they act like they normally do and get an absolute fucking battering.

No doubt then the same people moaning about them not being allowed will then say it was an antisemetic attack ignoring their cuntish behaviour and it goes round and round which is quite clearly what the coppers don't want happening on their watch.

It's a shame the anti semitic Tel Aviv police submitted to the Muslim group and cancelled the derby last night and changed the image of Israeli politics.

They should've been as strong and powerful as Nandi who thinks it's the first time in history that away fans have been banned.

What did you think to this part?

I thought it was interesting that the majority of supporters that were arrested that night were Ajax fans..... yet they (I believe) are playing at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday - why were they not excluded?

If we're going to base these decisions on a violence factor of supporters then I guess LFC, MUFC and pretty much each and every British football club should be concerned.

Lets face it, the main threat to this game is that a whole load of Palestinian supporters are going to turn up en masse and cause trouble by the way of a protest march. That is the main challenge the Police face.

Football hooligans or louts are something the WM constabulary deal with each and every week and that and that alone should be the focus of their effort.
