There's people I know who persist in adding beans with just about every meal - maybe a slight exaggeration - and I don't get it. I don't eat them at all but if I did they would have to be totally separate from the rest of the scran.

Only tend to have beans on toast with eggs when I’m feeling lazy and with a breakfast.

And those very, very rare occasions when I have a KFC for some bizarre reason.

Otherwise , like you I tend to give them a swerve.

I agree that with things like fish and chips and pie and chips they are an abomination.

Although I have made my own huevos rancheros which is essentially posh beans in tomato and chilli sauce with eggs, served with a tortilla.

Obviously a man of taste and refinement. Must try these Lashford links, I get our breakfast bangers and bacon from Ireland and have to pay duty. Would say a fried slice is pretty important in our collation but no hash brown, getting decent bread is a challenge though and the butter is usually French President SS.

The other thing about Cafe Metro was the breakfasts were cooked by a really friendly beautiful Greek lady. If I'd gone to a Star Trek convention and was told she was Marina Sirtis (Commander Deanna) I swear I would have believed it.

Sometimes I fantasied that me and Marina were an item and we lived in a penthouse apartment on Deansgate. Sadly the truth was I living in a pokey one bed flat above a pet shop on Tib Street, the real Mrs Davnci at the time was a dead ringer for Olive from On The Buses....

btw Has anyone heard any news about the bu115hit ?
